Isn't Thiago for sale at Bayern? Surprising they didn't go for him.

 State of that bid. Are they valuing Gomes at 60 fecking million euros then?

Barca being mischievous if true

Think Pogba would love a move and would flourish somewhere like Barcelona

I don't believe it though - derisory offer and he's unsellable by us

The first time Barcelona tried to buy Coutinho for 105 million they wanted to pay something like 20 million up front - they have previous of being cheeky feckers in the transfer market

again, I find this hard to believe and the annoying thing is this could dominate our preparation for Leicester....Jose will not be happy

Wow!
At this point we offer 70m plus Sturaro and it's a done deal! :D

They have Arthur for that midget playmaker role. They seem to go more often than not for the more complete and robust midfielders lately, not only technical.

If there is any truth in this, which i tend to think there is, its horrible to think that other clubs view United as such a weak easy target, offering their unwanted players for our best players.
Cant imagine them trying this with City, PSG, Munich or even Juve. Even Liverpool creamed them for Coutinho. Do clubs really see us as such a mess that they can make these crazy offers, unsettle our players and eventually get what they want?
Think it's just you.

Bunch of c*nts. Can they be reported for such a derisory offer? (Yes I’m being silly)
That offer is worth £44m plus two cast offs, say £20m for Mina and £15m for Gomes. Not to mention that nobody wants these useless players, but that’s a total offer in the region of £80m. That’s about half of Pogba’s actual value.

These cnuts always get their man.

If it isn't this summer, you can be sure this will be flaring up again in January and next summer he'll be gone at the latest.

Hahaha what a club.

Barça pay Liverpool 140m for Coutinho .
Barça offer us the worst player in their midfield history and a player they are in dire need of getting rid off for Pogba .. Ehh and 50m .

They will need to up their bid to Dembele and Umtiti plus 100m . Pogba today would cost north of 200m in todays market.

Interesting. So Arthur, Rakitic and Busquets as it stands? Surely we can prize Rakitic away if this was being entertained.

That's probably about £100m in value and contains two players United are unlikely to want and Barcelona are clearly trying to get shot of.

This for a player that was bought for £89m before the market want nuts and has just won the WC after having an excellent tournament.

Given that it seems that there has been little genuine interest in Mina on our part, it seems strange to offer him. They must surely know that.

Wouldn't surprise me if he does with that Sopranos character as his agent probably agitating for a move.
Even aside from that it would make sense from his point of view - a chance to play in a team that plays attractive attacking football and a chance to challenge for top honours. Look at it from his point of view.

On a serious note, I think this shows how they view Pogba more than United. They don't believe he's worth the money as he breaks the mould of what they always ideally go for.
Maybe the offer indicates how they view it as a risk more than undermining united.

It's their first offer to be fair. Calm down mate, they offered a pittance for Coutinho at first.

Here’s a question...

What minimum offer from Barca (could be cash and / or players) would entice you to say “yes please”?

Raiola will only get involved when his clients ask him to. If Barca have made an offer you can be certain they've been given the go ahead by raiola and Pogba. They know at this moment it's a derisory offer but the plan is to destabilize the player. It might happen next summer or further down the line.

feck off Barca! We are a richer and bigger club than you.
Only Real can steal our players... :nono:

This reminds me of when you're playing Football Manager and the player you want is too expensive, so you add loads of P/X players to the deal.

£7 million + Danny Fox, Matty Cash, Gil Dias and Tim Erlandsson.

For Harry Kane.

Deal?

That could be part of it. I just think Pogba considers himself more as a highly sought after commodity than a dedicated footballer interested in forging a legacy at one club, so naturally with our predicament and Raiola whispering in his ear, I could easily see them attempting to engineer a move away.

Wouldn't sell them a virus after that insulting offer.

Principle is more important than money.

And Vidal. Think Coutinho could play there too maybe. Thats their core. But they still have Alena, Rafinha, Gomes and Samper in the squad. I doubt any of them will make it and they probably will be sold/loaned out.
