Not a fan of Clash for IB. Also, they really need to change that bounty for getting 2500 points while on winning team as it isn't really doable on this.

I'm a bit tempted to try and get into IB again for the chest piece and other bits. Do they drop at better light now or something? I read something about getting a 310 (blue though) artifact from the rank 3 package with IB as well I think so that's tempting for me.
The items Saladin sells are still at 280 light, though think you can get the weapon/armour up to 300 light from end game screenI was reading about that earlier. Sounds so shit

I saw someone one reddit say they got the chestpiece at 310 light. Which obviously made me erect.

In the challenge modes in hard mode apparently you can get a 320 artifact as well as 320 armour/weapon from that point, so for the Warpriest its a 320 heavy

Yeah, i've not been on for ages now to be honest. Just kind of fell away from it for whatever reason, still been keeping up with the news around the game and whatnot though.
Yeah i heard some of the challenges are apparently hard as shit, bit like the nightfalls really then i suppose.
I still want to get back into this. What's the deal with The Taken King? I have the Legendary version of the original Desitiny (with the two expansions). I really don't want to have to fork out a load more for The Taken King.
I've just reached level 40 with roughly 240 light.. What's the best way for me to get 280+ legendary gear? Pvp seems good for it?
PVP and normal strikes can get you to around 260, buy a exotic from Xur when he comes which will boost you massively, once your 260 light smash out the vanguard strikes and that'll drop you good stuff more regularly.
PVP can be good but it's often hit or miss, but if you enjoy it then yeah do it anyway.
And if you do a few sparrow races you can get decent light helms and class items. Normal strikes, then vanguard strikes once you're at 260 light is the best way though
If you don't already, make sure when you go to open your engrams that you are at the highest light level you can be as you receive similar light level rewards. If you have marks buy the vanguard 280 ghost, they rarely drop outside of COO and nightfall (for some).
Also there are a few quests that reward you with 280/300 guns, shame you missed out on the daily for the exotic sword (drops at 310) though it is hard maybe few of us could help if we're on. If you have the glimmer I think you can order 280 guns from the gunsmith.
The grind from 280 to 300+ can be painful especially if you don't do the raid.
EDIT sorry not sword, black spindle drops in daily but that drops at 290 now I think. Exotic sword can be done via a quest and really helps light level.

Some great tips there cheers boys, I've made it to 250 it hasn't felt like a grind at all so far and really enjoying the pvp. Class game wish I had gotten it sooner but I was being a stingy bugger and had always put it off due to alot of reviews knocking it when it first came out.
Think you did the right thing getting it now. As a result you've forked out a lot less money and they've changed a heck of a lot of stuff
It certainly seems pretty flawless now and still very active. I can only imagine you would have hit a brick wall with it on release due to lack of content? You lot used to be pretty active on it though didn't you's but now it only seems to be marko who still plays?

Man could I use some e-friends right now. stuck on the final boss battle of a heroic weekly strike and my decent team mates quit out and now I cant get no one else decent enough to join in and finish it.

That strike in general is a bit of a pain. Doesn't help that my connection on vita is lousy at the moment so kept cutting out.

I'm just doing it for the chance at 320 helm and class item. Not had much luck so far.
I got my 280 helm from it so was pretty happy with that but dont fancy grinding it to get any higher atm.

I thought I saw your name but thought my eyes might have been playing tricks on me. Been doing them a bunch as a quick way to get rid of coins, level up gear and attempting to get 320 helm/class item as can't see me completing the challenge modes any time soon.
Closest I've got is 319 helm and same light class item.

I'm also just doing it for the armor. I want a 320 class item because that'd put my warlock at 320. Need to win the race for 320 against one of the guys that I play with nowadays. He beat me to the Scarab Heart emblem by 30 minutes, so I have to get to 320 before him.

Not played IB much this week. Started today and ranked up pretty quickly thanks to the IB changes from months ago. Not a fan of PvP in general but like IB... apart from those damn Sunbreaker Titans.

Stormcaller warlock is probably the most powerful class for pvp now
Sunbreakers ain't got shit on the other specials it definitely doesn't feel op when I use it I'm usually lucky if I can get a kill I prefer my bubble.
Is there a guild system in this game?
Not a proper one. There is a RedCafe clan but being part of a clan doesn't do anything atm
Prefer the solar class, way better grenades and is clutch for self res , also the shotty/slap and grenade from this class is outstanding, the amount of times i have fecked a grenade and slapped 2-3 players out of it is quite ridiculous.
Yeah, I just took out two people who picked up heavies using self res and the grenades. Helped that they had swords so I just jumped and stayed in the air
