Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

Got to rank 5 and bought all the IB stuff (well, had the sidearm drop actually so not that). The pulse rifle is godly in PvP.

Oh and the Suros Regime really isn't for me. Need to figure out what to infuse it into now though.

Yup that's how I've been most of the times since getting ToM. Problems when we were doing it last night were:
  • Not really having a dedicated runner and just giving it to me. I was fine doing it (and think everyone can be capable of doing that role as its a lot easier on Oryx than the sisters) but I was a bit careful and safe which resulted in not much time to bring down the knight and Oryx.
  • One of the six hadn't done Oryx before, had the lowest light and decided to be on the platform in the front right which resulted in them dying every single turn. For people with lower light I'd advise them to stick to the back platforms as they're not as exposed to that tombship
  • Knight wasn't being brought down fast enough
  • Too many deaths resulting in not being able to stagger Oryx despite having three ToM at the time
 
Finally got the raid done, in our 3rd-4th attempt, the last time was the first time i was transported in to that bubble thing, for it i got 2 hand cannons 304 and 307 a 305 ghost and 3 mouldering shards
 
Just did a raid from start to finish even though I had already done the raid for the week on this character, just so I could get the 310 artifact. We zoomed through it all in about an hour. One of the best groups I've been in

Anyone else having trouble with raid drops? I just seem to be getting weapons which are all 302-307 and have only got a class item, boots and a ghost on two characters. No helmets, no gauntlets, and no chest piece. So incredibly frustrating!!! :(((

@Damien how did you get nearly all the gear?! :lol:

Running on all characters and a bit of luck. Leg armour is what lets my characters down but when we downed Oryx I got a 303 one which brings my Hunter to 308 overall.

I could have got the ghosts when they were first available but didn't want to screw anything up incase you weren't meant to get them at the time... annoying, so now will likely have to wait at least a week

The drops are random, just luck of the draw what you get and when. Did notice that if you get a gun drop from Warpriest its unlikely you get armor from Golgoroth.

I got a 309 raid Scout Rifle with full auto which is decent. Apart from that only got weapons between 300 - 306.

PvE/TTK Raid
Subclass - Nightstalker
Primary - Doom of Chelchis/Touch of Malice
Special - Eirene RR4
Heavy - Sleeper Simulant/Sol Edge
Helmet - Darkhollow Mask
Gauntlets - Darkhollow Grasps
Chest - Crest of Alpha Lupi
Leg - Iron Companion Boots
Class Armor - Darkhollow Mantle
