For some reason I expected them to move onto destiny 2 and start again, but I am pleasantly surprised.
Anyone want to do a shitload of Roc strikes tonight? I've done all the VoG and CE for the week, just got the VoC that I want to level up.

Could anyone just start a fresh crota raid session and invite me into the Fire team then just leave me right at the start so I can get the first chest with this new Titan?

You can join crota end without a level 30 character. Think I have done it with as low as a 26/27 in the past.
Don't think I'm skilled enough to solo it sadly.
I can do it solo, I dont think a lv 26 is strong enough to survive the blast that throws you up on to the ledge at the second lamp however.
That's the only difficult part of it, I've shown Afro and Brocky how to do it and Afro smashed it first time.
I've managed to a fesh character from 0-26 in 9 hours with no stored armour other than buying the exotic Titan boots from XUR.
I'm just seeing if anyone will help me out with the first chest before I start scouring LFG to see if I can piggy back on a nightfall.
Do you still need access to it? I think once you get to 26 you can enter the raid, same goes for nightfall I think as you have to be a certain level for it to be unlocked.
I haven't managed to do the lamps legit without a group so I use the lamp launch cheese to solo it:
I have done this with a 27 hunter I recently started (who would've thought I'd have to grind for more sapphire wire so I can upgrade my armour).
I know you can start it by yourself as a lower level. I did it in the first week just to get the first chest on my warlock.
If that doesn't work. Once I'm done with VOG I'll quickly help you

It's so uncool how they lock off content for those who haven't purchased The Dark Below. Basically can't do any more meaningful stuff until the reset. Got my weekly Vanguard Marks, got 15 Strange Coins I can't use since Xur is only selling expansion gear (seriously, what's up with that?), and got the last part of the Dubious Task to get the Invective shotgun but I can't do that either since the task is to complete a weekly challenge - and both the Weekly Heroic and the Nightfall are Dark Below.

Ahh damn. It must be 26 then which you need 76 light for (it is a 30 raid). It usually comes up when you can access it.

I tried getting into that first area for the exotic bounty where you need 200 fusion rifle kills in a nightfall and failed miserably. Saw you trying to solo it and thought I'd help out
Anyone up for a raid? haven't done one for a while... just been levelling characters and weapons.
Completed the Thorn bounty at last (I hate PvP), must say after playing with the gun for a little bit. It was well worth the effort.
I can now solo the first stage of Crota's End on my hunter with ease. Those new gauntlets that that Xur sold. Level them up enough to unlock the perk that makes you go invisible when hit. As a blade dancer, with the perk that makes the effects longer. It gives you roughly 6 seconds each time, and the thralls leave you alone as you run to the next lamp.@Ducklegs did you still need someone to take your alt through the first stage of crota? If your about we can do it quickly before the united game
