Have you played Borderlands? It's basically that in a Halo skin.
It's all about going around clearing areas in order to gain loot and getting gear for your character. Can play the whole game single player or with 2 other people. Then you have raids which are hard dungeons where you'll have to kill a shit load of enemies and fight bosses in order to get really good loot. Those have to be done as a group of 6 I think.
Has some online mmo elements. You have social areas where you go to NPCs for quests, rewards and shit. Then during your game you might see other people running around doing their own thing and you could try to buddy up with them if you wished.

Well it gives you an unlock time of midnight over there which is 1pm here tomorow so hopefully. The servers go up tomorow noon also so should work.
I wish I had known this before agreeing to cover someones shift at work though.

Awesome. I have some mates who will play too, who some of the lads from Clubs on Fifa will already know. We should be able to consistently fill the 3 party spots. It's a shame you can't play with more really, though there is always PvP and later on the 6v6 raids.

I've got the PS3 + Destiny bundle on order, but I only went for it because of the price. I didn't know anything about Destiny when I paid, but it didn't matter because the price made it a no-brainer.
Now I've had a chance to look into what I've actually bought, the deal seems even better! Destiny looks very interesting and I had no idea it was such a big game, as I don't really keep up to date with these things. Looks like it'll certainly tide me over until FIFA is released at the very least!

The marketing push for this one has been insane. They'll sell shit loads no matter what the game really is. Lots of people I know are buying it purely because of hype. It's baffling.
Yep they have done a good job. I can't wait to play it but not going to be surprised if some people are disappointed due to their expectations being too high.

This game is confusing the feck out of me. Is there competitive multilayer as well and how does that work? Is it a separate mode all together or will it tie into your single player character somehow?

It's separate but you use your character from your campaign mode and can rank him up, unlock stuff and get loot for him there too. They tie it in as you travel there from your hub in your ship and stuff.

@Cock17 Thanks for that mate. I'm getting it sometime in the next few days. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. I'll let you know if I do. I reckon the chances of being banned for this are pretty slim. Microsoft seem OK with it.
Reviews for this are out tomorrow, right? Imagine if it bombs at around 70%
After the money they've spent on it I can't see it getting bad reviews. I still think it's overhyped massively though, but it's still going to be a very good game.

Got an email from Game saying it's been shipped. I know that still means Tuesday but I've had games before release before so here is hoping!

It's been easy to market given the general lack of game/games with replay value available. It's why GTA V will be such an easy sale.
I got sucked into the Watchdogs hype and thought it was a really poor game in the end. Hoping this one impresses me a bit.

A lot of people online seem to be worried by the fact that the level up system only goes up to 20.
You can actually go past level 20. I don't really know how it works. There's like a level 20 cap for weapons and stuff so if you're level 20 you have access to everything in the game, but I've seen videos where people have actually been level 29.
Just 14 hours till I can play it, it's getting close now 
Damn, just remembered Fifa demo is coming on Tuesday too.
