Haha started off a nightmare didn't it! I was tired and didn't want to carry on but my bro said its easy. We did it on the third attempt once it sunk in that it was basically one shot kill and how to get past the wizards on the third wave (just keep retreating). It was pretty easy in the end though we did use the room trick for the final boss.

Felt like a cheat but then I got 9 shards! Plus the daily and a public event and I ranked up with the Cryptarch meant I got 14 shards for about an hours grind!

Give me a shout when you guys are doing a nightfall tomorrow, my sole contribution tonight was falling to my death twice in the space of a minute in a level 15 heroic...
 
I'm free all evening tonight. Happy to try and finish the raid with @Ducklegs if there are enough others interested or I can help with the nightfall (ideally as safe guy with my alt, but I can help with my main if needed)

This week is the first week I'll have enough coins to buy Xur's exotic weapon.

Knowing my luck though it'll probably be Bad Juju, Thorn or some other usless shite.

If you want. I did the 3 waves solo on nightfall with my main though, so we should be fine if I use my main until the final boss.

Wasn't last week the IceBreaker? I'd pretty much kill for one of those. The unlimited ammo for cheesing nightfalls must be a godsend.

I just don't want it to be a heavy weapon since I rarely use those. Preferably a shotgun/Fusion rifle/sniper.

Where did you guys get up to. Would be great if you have the maze check point. Would love to jump in and grab those chests like last time if I'm not able to do the raid fully

All the way to atheon I'm afraid! He just didn't want to be cheesed and then we were unsure whether it had been patched. They cheeses him in the end, but after me and @Ducklegs had left.
