Denis Zakaria - Chelsea bound!

Juve fans appear to have been less than complimentary about his on the ball play from what I've seen.

No midfielder is going to look good playing for Juve with the tactics Allegri uses.

He's another Caf darling that is actually painfully average.

Pointless signing. Hasn't progressed at all from the player he was about 3 years ago, the fact Juve have seen enough after 6 months and about 10 games says it all.

No better than the other half a dozen options they have in midfield.

Chelsea really are scraping the barrel with this one.

Chelsea have some sort of creativity in the starting XI challenge (impossible)

Obviously didn't impress at Juventus. People on here were furious Man Utd didn't move for him in January.

 Gotta laugh at the Rangnick fanboi’s who lost their shite we didn’t get him for £5m in January. Now look… Juventus couldn’t careless.

Chelsea are going to bomb so hard this season.

30m buy option.
Reminds me of the 27m option to buy we agreed with Lazio when we loaned them Pereira.

Stop gap for a season until they go in for Declan next summer me thinks.

I dont see whats funny. The clue is in your own statement. 5 mill. Where was the risk? Chelsea have a buy option for 30mill! Not as if Juve got done. It just never worked out. And dont forget we were desperate as fk for a midfielder in Jan

I don’t think Juve fans are happy with any of their players.

Juve are like Chelsea are with our attacking players, but with all of their players. I bet you he’s better whatever Juve made him look. Although I don’t really know much about him beyond the hype a couple of years ago.

I think Tuchel is panicking a bit now. League form has never really been superb, on the whole, and I feel like their approach for the window has been scattergun.

I think they could have issues if a few of the teams round them (United, Spurs) get their act together.

It just never worked out because he’s rubbish. £30m for Chelsea because they are idiots

What's the harm in including a buy option for a player we're never actually going to end up buying on a permanent deal? The option could be 100M€ for all we care, it's not going to be activated regardless.

Kante is currently injured, Kovacic has been injured a lot, Loftus-Cheek is injured (mostly plays RWB nowadays anyway) and Gallagher seems like he would be a better fit further up the pitch behind the striker rather than in the two-man midfield. Leaves only Jorginho who's currently fully fit.

No top class midfielders were ever going to move this late in the window so getting just about anybody on loan improves us by helping us cope a little bit better with the injuries. When Kante and Kovacic are back in full fitness I really doubt Zakaria is going to see much of playing time, unless he surprises us all and plays at a similar level to his performances at Borussia Mönchengladbach around 2-3 years ago, which tbf I don't think is going to be very likely.

As a deal this is about the same as Arthur's loan to Liverpool. Just another body to help with the injury crisis. Very low risk involved.

Not rubbish at all, I guess he'll surprise a lot of you.
Very agile box-to-box MF who is sadly injured quite often. He never got a run of games at Juve because he managed to be out twice during that half a year...

Okay. I’m going with Saul Nuguez vibes.

More to do with the fact he was available for £5m. Juventus will get £30m for him. That’s smart business.

So the Caf was hoping we would buy him for cheap to make profit.

Manchester United - Profit sales?

I totally understand.

Unless he absolutely smashes it, they most certainly will not get £30m. The fact that Chelsea settled for him after going through Alvarez, Sangare etc, and the fact that it’s only a loan says a lot. Chelsea need a DM but aren’t fully convinced about him.
