Made me wonder for some reason if any of the players from the Fergie era will ever get statues

It just wouldnt seem right IMO, whereas the trio of Best, Law and Charlton really does seem perfect.

But then again players under Fergie won even more than those 3.

I'd put one up for Eric for sure but I do think the whole statue thing is a bit overdone these days.

I would say that those who thought he was great didn't underrate him, but those who didn't think he was as good of a player as he was did underrate him, hope this helps.

My favourite United player of all time, and I am old enough to have seen him play many times in the flesh - brilliant player and certainly not underrated here
