Day 9 | Georgia vs Czechia | Turkey vs Portugal | Belgium vs Romania

That was my interpretation, too. If you follow the line down from there, then it's a goal, yes?
I think so yeah.

As far as I know if it hits your arm above the sleeve then it's net deemed handball so the offside line should be from there if you can play that ball with that upper part of the arm.

The original offside law was never, ever made to quantify offside by such tight margins such as that. It was there to prevent goal hanging. Such a ridiculous and outdated law. That goal should stand. Imagine losing a cup final with a call like that.
We did...we lost to Liverpool and our goal wasn't even offside

All hail VAR.

About 2 lb of fat outside there

These games are finishing with a lower score line than the game suggests due to crap in the last third.

Or cup SF? ;)

At least with automated replays you quickly see how they came to the decision.

Makes a total mockery of every premier league weekend where 3-4 minutes is spent drawing lines and basically guessing.

The disallowed goal of Portugal earlier this week was also close, but that was an offside.

It is what it is.

KDB does it!

They should really change the rule on these millimeter offsides. They're using cameras to "measure" as well, not lasers. Can't be that precise.

Make it something like half the body should be in front for an offside or something.

I said yesterday that it should have stood
Not sure I agree honestly. I think the rule is silly, but according to the rules, theoretically, Dumfries makes it impossible to dive. Even if he never saw it coming.

How do you define what "half the body" actually means? I think that would be much more open for discussion that the current rule.
