Or maybe he realizes that’s this is his last chance to win a big tournament and he’s trying to do the right thing.

Or maybe he was worried that he would miss.

I don’t know, but I honestly wasn’t surprised that moment that he passed it. Definitely not “shocked”.

I remember we had a Spanish ref against Uruguay or some team and he gave us nothing.
 
Difficult to know how good this Portugal team is compared to the other top teams. As was the case in qualifying, they’ve been given a ridiculously easy draw.

You're overthinking it and taking the banter a bit too seriously.

It makes perfect sense for him to square it and bury Turkey. Anyone in his situation would've done it and hanged, drawn and quartered if he didn't.

I said that I don’t care why he did it. Others came with explanations. I said that it could be this and could be that. It doesn’t matter in the end.
 
People rave about France's team but Portugal are quite stacked.
