Day 9: Cameroon vs Serbia | South Korea vs Ghana | Brazil vs Switzerland | Portugal vs Uruguay

I don't blame VAR on this, I blame the stupid guideline that linesman shouldn't flag even obvious offsides. Pre-VAR that gets flagged immediately and no one raises a fuss.

Switzerland are very solid defensively. Might not make for exciting games but it's good coaching

But he didn't flag up after the goal was scored so the goal would've been given.

The linesman didn’t notice the offside and continued play as normal. It was VAR that stepped in and overruled it.

I know he had a good finish against Serbia, but Richarlison as the main Brasil number 9 is hugely anticlimactic. I like him as a personality and player - mainly for his work rate - but he doesn’t have enough quality.

What would be the point of staying there ?

No idea what you mean by that. Your question seems irrelevant.

I'm talking about a situation like the one we just had. Richarlison drifts offside and then runs back onside to play the ball. What is the advantage he had from being offside such that he should be punished?

They're still going on about the fecking spin????
