Day 6 | Croatia vs Albania | Germany vs Hungary | Scotland vs Switzerland

Kristjan Asllani is class, really United level

Gvardiol basically playing as a midfielder is fecking madness considering they've got two attacking full backs in a back four in addition to a stacked midfield of Modric, Brozovic and Kovacic.

Croatia have no gears to go up and no aggression to add to the mix. Utterly one-paced; if Albania manage to score a second, they'll be in huge trouble.
Yep. They play exactly what you’d expect a side like that on paper to play like — a bit old and a bit slow.

Albania remind me of Morocco at the World Cup. A solid unit that hustle for everything. Don't have the most glamourous players or football but make their abilities count.

To be fair, Albania have had some class players over the years.

They just tend to play for Switzerland.

Croatia are unbelievably poor. Puts the game vs Spain in perspective.

Croatia need a refresh. This side is done

That's Kosovarians, not Albanians, no?
Yes, both essentially - a lot of refugees who had to flee from Kosovo are ethnically Albanians. An example would be the Xhaka brothers - they are born in Kosovo, Granit plays for Switzerland and Taulant plays for Albania

That's Kosovarians, not Albanians, no?

Kosvar Albanians in fairness, I'm sure they could have played for Albania if they chose to.

Edit: As Xhaka's brother did, representing Albania - as other's pointed out.
