Day 6 | Croatia vs Albania | Germany vs Hungary | Scotland vs Switzerland

Why would you have McTominay on freekicks? The guy is pretty good in the box.

You're such a gross poster. Some weird Leicester fan taking constant swipes at United. feck knows why it's tolerated.
I'll take that as a compliment.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. It's the Euro 2024 thread, not the United main forum.

AFAIK I'm free to comment about any player, too bad if it happens to be a United one and ruffles your feathers.

what? You don’t remember his double at Anfield that got Mourinho the sack after or the stunning overhead kick in the 5-0 pre-season battering in America.
I do know that he scored the goal that got Mourinho sacked. I wasn’t too interested in football at the time, only passively.

I don’t remember us losing 5-0 to you in pre-season, that’s embarrassing

Is Clarke a fecking idiot? Why is McTominay taking the set pieces instead of where he is actually pretty decent - inside the box trying to get on the end of it?

Scott is neutralizing the feck out of Xhaka, for all his clumsiness on the ball.

It's a binary situation, like on or off, offside or onside
Yeah, I think if VAR offside decisions are reached a) quickly and b) with a consistent level of scientific objectivity, as has been the case at this tournament, I can see most people supporting VAR eventually, even if they still whinge about marginal calls against them.

It's a binary situation, like on or off, offside or onside

Yeah I know. I'm not questioning the decisions, I'm just saying it seems like we've seen an impressive amount of offside goals. Seems like at least once every or every other game.

You're Scottish?

they should really have to announce it in every post. you’ve been discussing things in good faith with @SilentWitness, and he drops a bombshell like that on you.

i wasn’t so easily fooled, but i am more street-smart than you when it comes to spotting their wily ways.

This has been a cracker of a game. End to end stuff even though lacking in quality at times.

Mcgregor not looking his normal self. Understandable against Germany, but here too?

Reminds me of Scott Brown. Just happy in the Celtic comfort zone so hard to say how good he really is.

Why is mcginn pushed so far up the pitch? Surely you want your most capable midfielder on the ball as much as possible. Baffling decision.

Clarke needs to sub Ralston, he’s having a nightmare panicking every time he’s put under any sort of pressure.

A much better half but disappointed with McGinn. Arguably he's been the best Scottish player this season but he's looked off it in both games so far.

That right side of defence is so poor too, we would look so much better if Hickey was fit. A shame.
