Day 5: Germany vs. Portugal

I don't know why but Mullers socks are making me angry.

The Teutonic twit. Who the bloody hell does he think he is, walking about the place wearing short long socks (or possibly long short socks)?!?!? Outrageous.

You're not going to get an objective opinion on Ozil here

I dunno about that. Ozil is quite gifted, but he gets slagged, and rightfully so, for his effort and penchant for disappearing. However when he's involved he's insanely good.

He's annoying, like a child whos excited to be near a professional football... probably asks them all for their autograph and poses for photos with them soon as the camera is off...

I agree Muller play acting is wrong and pushing it is fine, but to spend the entire break focusing on one aspect is bit daft... there was plenty more he could of brought up.... Even Dixon at the end suggesting that they didn't have time because he prattled on about Muller!

Nah that's just good anchoring - if there's a discussion to be had (and there was) don't move on until you absolutely have to.

The only thing from that half that would have been worth a bit of debate was that penalty/possible red card - but they can always talk about that at the end of the match. Ultimately, the Pepe thing was the main talking point - as it's had the biggest influence on the match.

Muller really needs to invest in longer socks, looks like he isn't wearing shin pads either haha

I reckon if Portugal had the option of throwing in the towel at half time, they probably would have taken it.

It looks like this is just a massive inconvenience for them at the moment.

Why not? Go anywhere and you'll find fans of other clubs saying Ozil has been poor compared to what he used to be. He used to genuinely be world class at Real Madrid. He isn't anymore. What's funny is Arsenal fans' refusal to accept that he's regressed since his move. Obviously he's still pretty good but for £42m, he's been largely meh, for club and country, since his move to North London.

It's not shocking - literally, no one here is shocked, or have at any point expressed shock at what Muller did. It's fecking annoying though, and not something that a lot of people - myself included - want to see as part of the game of football.

Pepe gave him the opportunity to go down. Müller took the opportunity. I'd have done exactly the same as him. Its winning mentality, the thought of cheating or whatever doesn't really come into it IMO.

Ronaldo's hair is out of place. He won't be happy with that. Almost as bad as losing 3-0 I'd imagine.

Excuses? What excuses? It´s a fact admited by our medical staff and also Real´s. I´m not going to bite at all. Don´t bother trying to wind me up as i only get emotional about Sporting. I´m one of those club before country kind of person.
Ridiculous how people are slagging him off. It's like they expect him to pick the ball off the defence and dribble past the entire German team and score himself. How the feck can an attacker like Ronaldo do something when the rest of the team are playing like morons?

I mean wow.

As much as I love Ronaldo he needs to stop looking at himself at the big screen. Always need to look slick with his hair.

Disgrace

Must be stupidly hot out there, Ronaldo has let his hair get out of place.

No it's not. Roy Keane had a winning mentality, didn't see him fecking about like that. It's a cheaters mentality... cheating to win.

No doubt mate. Just hope Germans take it easy for our own sake. Goal difference will probably play a part in deciding this group.
