Day 23: Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium

How is Fellaini still on the pitch? He's pretty much useless when defending a lead like this.

I don't think Brazil have threatened that dangerously but this second half performance from Belgium is asking for trouble.

Belgium leaving so many gaps all over the place. Hope they hold on but it looks like a goal is coming

Seems Hazard prefers to use Lukaku to make space than ever consider passing to him.

Think it's all set for a piece of Neymar magic to save Brazil.

Does Marcelo ever make a mistake or poor decision on the ball Marvelous player

He's dead on his feet

They don't have any other better attacking player to transfer the ball upfront. They need to keep him even if he's dead, otherwise they won't do any other attacking and will be risking losing if they conceded the equalizer.

I still find it so weird to see that hazard is their captain. I can't think of a worse candidate

How many times has a striker teased the keeper and knocked it past him, usually straight out of play, but gets wiped out and gets the penalty? Happens all the time and it’s no different.

He didn’t really get “wiped out” though. He just rode Kompany’s block.

Belgium are getting destroyed in midfield, no idea why they don't bring Dembele on. Need someone to hold possession for more than 1 second.
