Day 23: Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium

That Belgium team is so sick. Even in defence, considered by most as the weakest part of the team, they have this season's best CB in the PL, last season's best CB in the PL, and one of the overall best CBs in the PL post 2010

Have a look at their left wing back options.....Brazil certainly will be tonight.

There's a lot of people who don't want to travel to Russia these days. We're talking about a country that has systematically been infiltrating and corrupting the politics of many countries, launched an old-fashioned military conquest of Ukraine, supported Chechnya's gay purge, repeatedly assassinated politicians even on foreign soil, and all manner of human rights violations. While some of these or similar things can be said of a country like Qatar, they're a lot less antagonistic toward many fans' home countries. Putin, on the other hand, is a very real and current enemy of the western world.
Off topic but completely disagree. Just went there a few weeks ago and it's just a lot of western media and nato propaganda of how horrible russia is.

Fellaini's elbows making an early appearance

To me this is the sort of game Hazard really needs to step up in...too often imo he's on the periphary of key CL games and also was same at last euros.

Keeps saying he wants to win Balon D'Or, not enough just to be Premier league POTY a few times.

Fellaini is so fecking thick. His elbows should be amputated.

Got a feeling this will be like the Denmark Brazil in 1998, that was a proper world cup knockout classic. Still remember Laudrup's celebration.

I can't recall I ever wanted any national team to fail so much as I want Brazil to fail since Neymar appeared in the international football scene. Good lord, even his face is simply so annoying to watch. It's not hate, it's simply... him, an annoying being.

Looks like Lukaku is on Marcelo, with freedom to drift

Some phenomenal hair on show tonight. Who does the bog brush better? Fellaini, Witsel, Marcelo or Willian?

No way are Belgium keeping a clean sheet tonight.
