Day 20: Brazil vs. Colombia

The ref didn't have the temperament to work a game at this level. Hope this is the last we see of him.

The constant pleas to the crowds are seriously irritating. The crowd have been brilliant for the team all tournament. How about you give them something?

I can't be done with the crying, please no crying. Like a bunch of teenage girls.

Hernanes

Ref has been fair tbh, allowed play to flow. Colombia got away with several cynical challenges too
Its the big decisions, Colombia's goal wasn't offside and keeper should have been sent off with the pen.

What did Neymar even do in this game apart from make a full of himself?

Referring to the "minimum of 5 minutes", the Swedish so-called expert says "So it could technically be played to 95:59". What an idiot

These commentators are doing my head in. Trying to romanticise Brazil cheating their way to the trophy.

And Brazil defies all the hatred in this thread to go through to the semis.

He gets kicked and targeted every game. Sometimes he goes down easy but so does every player.

Even before people saw him play properly they labeled him as a show pony. Now they see he has substance they'd rather talk about him beyond his actual talent.

Even for someone who gets kicked a lot he's a really poor player actor. I agree people underrated him, but he's an example of a player who was so overhyped he eventually became underrated because people wanted to scale back the hype.
