Day 19: Brazil vs Mexico and Belgium vs Japan

It’s honestly why a lot of Americans can’t get behind the sport. Toughness is valued in our big sports and then you’ve got stars like Neymar being divas.
If the NFL is the benchmark then we need a team of Roy Keenes and Vinny Joneses for you guys to get impressed.

I don’t know whether the conditions are making it really difficult but Mexico seem awfully chilled for a team heading home in 10 minutes unless they score.

Think a team like France will pump this Brazil side if they get their finger out. No idea where this favourites tag is coming from.
Just because they're Brazil. They could play an U21 team and still be liked by the bookies.

They've lacked the passion and intensity I expected from them today. Really disappointing.

Neymar alone makes me support any team Brazil face. And it’s annoying as they have a magnificent team.

How on a earth is that a "stamp"??? He slowly placed two studs on his leg. My 4 year old son could take that without crying. Neymar and Suarez...

If someone receives onfield treatment, then they should only be allowed back on to the field after the same amount of time the treatment took has elapsed.

So Thiago Silva spent 2 minutes rolling around on the floor? Fine, he can come back on 2 minutes later.

It wouldn’t hurt

Football - take and deliver collisions and get up and do it again

Baseball - take a 95mph fastball to the hip and walk to 1st base

Basketball - take a fall to the hardwood and get back up and play
