England's goalless draw against Algeria in 2010 not looking so bad now, is it?

I love revisionism

God, imagine if it goes to extra time and Ozil's still on the pitch. With his fitness levels he'll end up being ground into a fine powder and being blown away by the time they get to penos.

Well I'm a Madrid Fan and I can tell you this is an awful gamefor him considering how amazing he was for us.His first touch was probably his best attribute but today his first touch hasn't been very good.
True, but the Algerians are pressing relentlessly to be fair. His movement and passing has been good... certainly not any worse than the other 2 MFs, Schweinsteiger and Kroos, IMO.

I don't want any player to get injured, but this might be a blessing in disguise.

Lahm to gift the Algerians the deciding goal with a mistake from RB.

So Lahm shift back to RB and Khedira as a DM. Yeah that's how you should have played from the start Loew!

Mustafi off, Lahm to RB. I know this part.
It's bizarre to prefer Lahm in midfield over a real midfielder. I don't care what the stats say, I could get great stats in that Bayern midfield, Lahm is no midfielder.
