Day 18: Croatia vs Brazil | Netherlands vs Argentina (QF 1&2)

This ref is shit and I've thought that since the first time I saw him years ago.

I was thinking just before the Dutch equalised that Argentina should be careful as they just seemed to stop attacking. After what happened to Brazil earlier you would have thought they would be on guard.

Paredes just looks like he has some really questionable views.

They made chances in the last 15 minutes and change back to how they were playing before. Why?

A silver lining for Argentina if they do go out is that they can save on the flight back by sharing with Brazil. Useful in these tough times.

This Dutch squad may have lots of average players but they can score in varied ways. This Argie team looks like it will have to defend for its lives.

Holland’s tactics are so silly. They had the momentum, back to passing to death.

Not looking like that in extra time, so far. Netherlands look like they have no intention of going forward.

Netherlands needs to finish this off in OT, one of the countries worse than Argentina at penalties.

Because Argentina had to defend for their lives before. Now they need toO attack to so would risk having a player or two free to counter. It’s a totally different level of risk

Paredes big responsible for what happened in my opinion. He was brought on to close the game, but he just commited fouls and started fights, making the team nervous.

Wish they would stfu about Messi. I love the guy as a player but Jesus.

also, De Jong has been terrific? What game are they watching?

Argentina just don't learn. That's the third daft free kick they've given away in dangerous areas.
