Day 17: Morocco vs Spain | Portugal vs Switzerland (Last 16 7&8)

is there a stat for needless passes in a game. Spain have passed the ball about 300 times too much.
All I see there is a cowardly team where nobody wanted to take the responsibility and a manager who had no answer to the low block, hell the ball wasnt put into their box at all it seems.
This focus on pass and move football drives me nuts. They are so feckin good at it as well so it’s basically pointless for teams to go higher and put pressure on them, unless it’s a top quality side. Just kills all the fun in football.

Why on Earth do managers bring players on just to miss penalties!?

He missed a golden chance to win the game and then missed his pen. And you could see in his eyes he was gonna miss.

And then the next guy he brought on misses as well.

Awful from Enrique - he’s Southgated it completely.

That might be the worst penalty in a knock out I've ever seen, you knew he was gonna miss by his walk up.

Oh my goodness Spain miss again!

Christ, do teams not actually practice penalties anymore?

Why are they hitting the penalties so softly? I don't think I have seen anyone smash one.

They really don't know how to shoot that's why it was 0-0

why do spanish players shout for ramos when things go their way?

They said the other day that the ball was lighter than the ones used in the EPL could that be why they all look so lightweight?
