Very good tactical change by Susic I must say. We look way better when we have players in every position on the pitch.

Meh, we don't look that great. We're playing without wingers so aren't looking that dangerous, we have 4 central midfielders on. Iran just aren't doing anything to even try to get on the ball so it's easy for Pjanic and Besic to dominate possession. Hadzic and Susic aren't really doing much of use, and Vrsajevic is just losing the ball, if we put on 2 wingers and a decent right back we could score a few more.
 
Begovic is really top class keeper, and a top class bloke too. Pjanic had good first half, and that was nice goal from Dzeko, but overall boring first half.

I was just being sarcastic and it was a reference to his lineup in the previous game.

But it's true, this team despite some names that should never be on that pitch, is looking better than the one against Nigeria. It's more balanced simply because the left flank isn't wide open.
 
Dzeko had a correct goal ruled offside against Nigeria... if that had stood, Bosnia would currently be going through. FFS.

Don't know how to feel about this. Have a soft spot for the Bosnians and before the World Cup I wanted them to do well but before today's matches I was kinds hoping Iran will nick 2nd place.
 
Well that could happen only at World Cup, out of all people Vrsajevic scores. :lol:

We weren't bad, much better defensively(that happens when you put players who actually help their fullbacks). Not great either, but cinsidering it was dead rubber game for us, and Iran actually had to win, I'd say we did good.

So, after all, first World Cup for us not that bad as you would imagine. Shame about the Nigeria, who knows what would happen if that goal stood out. Well done to the players, now let's prepare for Euro. :D

I don't. They needed a win against us when we weren't even up for it yet they hardly went forward to try to get a goal. It was weird really, they just didn't seem arsed to even try and go forward.

Susic is an idiot, why the feck is he playing his nephew, and 4 central midfielders at all? Vrsajevic is one of the worst right backs I've seen too so no idea why he's playing. Thankfully our manager Susic isn't having his contract extended and is leaving after the world cup.

As a matter of fact tino is not bad player at all, he may not develop into super quality player, but decent one for sure. Hadzic on the other hand will not develop into anything. Good game. Avdija scored more goals than Ronaldo or Aguerro :-P
 
Had Iran started with 2 strikers, and with Jahanbaksh instead of Shojaei in the beginning, things could have been different.

That was a really poor display by Iran though.

Time to get players like Nekounam, Heydari and some other 30+'ers out of the Iran Team.

That's one of the funniest things I ever heard.
 
It was a decent game and I'm happy about the result. We scored 3 really good goals and showed yet again very good build up play. I don't know what else to say really, I'm still terribly disappointed about our early exit which could've been easily prevented.

It's time to move on and forget about this I guess and turn our attention towards the Euro qualifiers. Games against Belgium and Wales look tasty. It won't be a boring campaign that's for sure.

He's always brilliant. Arguably the most impressive midfielder in the World Cup, shame it's over for him.

Yeah he has potential but it's a bit ridiculous to bring him when he can't even get first team football at hajduk, at least he tries though. The problem is that he's blatantly only there because he's Safet's nephew.
 
one of the worst performances i've seen by my country. extremely disappointed in nekounam, he was invisible throughout our 3 games. dejagah, reza, teymourian, and our defense were the only ones who showed effort and heart. i wouldn't trust heydari or masoud with a part-time shift working the cash register at a 7-11. fecking shit the both of them.
 
That Besic lad seems a vast cnut. I watched all 3 Bosnia games and in each game he either stamped on sb, elbowed, abused and whatnot. He was kicking the shit out of Nigerians while verbally abusing them at the same time - nothing doing (today he even punched a player). Looks a bit like a cnut too.
