What's the deal for second place? Iran win by two goals and Nigeria lose - Iran through? What a turn up that would be
 
I'm still hoping for a 1-0 Iran win together with a 1-0 Argentina win so we can see the drawing of lots. This world cup has been so good and that would just make it better. Except if you support the team who loses the draw of course , but there always has to be a loser I guess.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us lose, mentality is shit after this kind of result and they probably won't be up for it. Hope I'm wrong and they go for our first ever win at a World Cup and go home with some pride.

Susic is an idiot, why the feck is he playing his nephew, and 4 central midfielders at all? Vrsajevic is one of the worst right backs I've seen too so no idea why he's playing. Thankfully our manager Susic isn't having his contract extended and is leaving after the world cup.

Same Line Up as against Argentina.
 
I like both sides, would be happy if either advances but since Bosnia cannot, Team Melli!

They'll have to score some insurance goals as well which makes me think they have a slim chance of advancing ahead of Nigeria who is likely to get pummeled
 
Susic probably won't stay with us. Rumour has it that his successor will be Dusan Bajevic.

Normally it's so easy to predict our setup, lineup and how we're gonna play, but since that game against Nigeria, I have no fecking clue what to expect. Let's just get this over with. I'm still raging.

Legend as a player but completely clueless as a manager. Lost us the game against Nigeria by not picking a left back at all and then taking off wingers for his nephew (who can't even be first choice for Hajduk :lol: ) and other central midfielders. Now he has 4 central midfielders and no wingers, including his nephew starting against Iran. The guy is just an idiot, which is why he's not having his contract extended.

Getting to the world cup is an achievement sure but it's one that was always going to happen no matter who was in charge, we had an easy qualifying group and we have a very strong team. We should have gotten through the group phase of the world cup too, but he failed at that. It's not like he ever showed that he's good tactically or anything either apart from against Argentina.

Yeah, tactics and team selection vs Nigeria were odd to say the least but he got you to the WC. :)

Read my edit :) Yeah it was a great achievement to get here but one that everyone expected really. You can't just completely take the tournament lightly though, not caring what happens in the actual world cup acting like you achieved everything just being here. I mean, he didn't take a fitness coach to the world cup, the day after the nigeria game he cancelled training so they could all relax, and he says shit like he has no regrets over the lineup and we were just unlucky. He's like Stimac for you guys pretty much.

:lol: It's just funny isn't it. Him, Susic and Hadzic.. what are they even doing at the world cup, let alone starting a match:wenger:
I mean, Hadzic and Susic can become decent potentially, but they are just youngsters right now who aren't even close to the others. Yet they are starting. It's like Susic is just throwing the games away so his nephew can get apps.
 
We had very easy group in the qualifiers to not qualify. He was clueless most of the time in qualifying games too, but was extremely lucky with few games. He had some good games no doubt, but it's quite obvious he is very ordinary manager. He lost the dressing room and that is probably even bigger reason he won't be offered new contract.

I hope our other players won't be judged because of them. I can see Pjanic having awfull game with that crop behind him. I mean, I have nothing against them, it's not their fault Susic picked then, but they really don't deserve to be here.

Yeah agree. The most disappointing part about all of this is because we know we are so much better then what we showed, and I really can't see us winning against Iran because of our mentality. Pjanic and Besic were the only ones who performed in the last game and I can't see that changing, and we'll just seem like we're a shit team, when we aren't.

You'd think Iran would do more then park the bus against a team already out and aren't motivated at all...
 
83% possession for Bosnia, do Iran realize they have to win? Or can they genuinely not do anything.

Love the way Boznia Herzegovina play. But I also want to see Iran give a good fight, last chance for Asia.

Bad part is Niko had similar comments after Mexico. He didnt say we were unlucky but said his conscience is clear. I hope he wont go Štimac's way.

Anyway that's ridiculous, its as he's given up once he took you to the WC. That's a shame cause you have a really good team which, in normal circumstances, should have gone through.
