Did a decent job at West Ham and got them out of trouble but they still think he’s not good enough for them (they’re probably right).

To be fair, transformed Arnautovic from a streaky inconsistent winger (and awful for West Ham in this position under Bilic who seemed to have no idea how to use him) into a very dangerous centre forward. Thought he was going to be one of the flops of the season after the first few months, ended up being a key player in my fantasy team

The 2013/2014 campaign under Moyes is still our best performance in the Champions League since we reached the final in 2011. Although the fact Moyes has never once qualified for the tournament suggests that campaign was more a last gasp of professional pride from Fergie’s ageing team.

Don’t forget Giggs as well - that home game against Olympiacos was a masterclass from him, probably his last one as a player. Without him and RVP, that night would’ve seen a much more embarrassing exit than Sevilla was this season.
Back on topic: I’m always willing to slag Moyes at the slightest opportunity, but he can be satisfied with his performance at West Ham I think - he got a mid-table squad he took-over in the relegation zone up to 13th, which is perfectly acceptable. West Ham obviously want to take the club forward so have rightly decided Moyes isn’t the man to lead that charge, but he’s now better placed to get the next job than he was after three failures on the spin.
It will happen. Paulo Fonseca refused the offer from West Ham and negotiations broke down, so Benitez will be next.
He did get a huge payout from MUFC. I am not sure if he got payouts from the other clubs he got fired from, though.
But I do agree with you - in hindsight, he must think to himself, "Why did I leave Everton - it was a cushy number and I knew the club/job/players; no stress; no pressure; making top 8 regularly".

That is some serious lack of objectivity on show there. Everton were fecking dreadful to watch more often than not under him, never mind being a top striker away from the league.
