His poor first touch is still a poor first touch no? Haller actually has good fundamentals like a very good touch. So the comparison is slightly off. Also on Bruno yes I think he’ll be better out wide But he’s not really a playmaker to say Eriksen would be playing out wide for us. Bruno is a striker (Rangnick terms) which is why I said it wouldn’t work.
The point is Haller is not technically gifted. So why did ETH still want to sign Nunez after he saw Nunez played against his Ajax in two legs then? Also again, it's called coaching. For example, before moving to Ajax, there was doubt about Ziyech's work rate that he can fit in to ETH system. Coaching is important here. If ETH wants Nunez then he believes that he can coach Bruno and Nunez to play in the same team.
