They give Price all the aggro for celebrating etc but MvG started all of that at least to the extent they do it these days. Having said that in tonight's case he wasn't looking at his opponent when he coughed so didn't time it - these guys have a very thin skin when they are losing very often.

Cullen is great to watch when on form but still inconsistent - with each week giving him a new chance under the new format he could be well suited to it.

Wonder what that will do for Cullen's confidence now he's beaten the perception he's a serial choker? His game is like Klaasen and with a similar action. Amazing to watch on song, but can be erratic as hell.

I was wondering if anyone else had caught any of the Seniors!
I'd rather go and watch that at the Circus Tavern than the main PDC at the moment because a) the fans at PDC events are mostly braindead and b) the Circus Tavern is the soul of darts for me, I never experienced the World Championship there but it just looks an awesome night out.
I went to the Premier League in Sheffield & Nottingham a few years ago and I've been to the World Matchplay at Blackpool and back then the fans were ok but it just seems like the last 2/3 years it's gone really downhill.

Disappointed that both of my favourites in the draw in O'Shea and Fitton lost. Looking forward to seeing how Terry Jenkins plays as it's been a few years since he last played on TV, and how Manley winds up Taylor tonight.

I was at the Killarney festival of darts a few years back (2011) and MvG was playing a young lad called Adam or Aaron or something. The lad was about 13 and honestly I don't think I ever disliked anyone as much as MvG that day. The games were first to 3 in the kids and every time he hit a score he was practically screaming in the kids face. Think he won 3-1 and you'd swear the lad screwed his mother or something the way he was going on.
Was a great weekend in general. Once I was beat on the Saturday I was sitting with James Richardsons dad for pretty much the weekend and James was on fire. Lovely man btw.
I've said on here before I went to a night at one of the players' championships at the Circus Tavern years ago. It was a bit of pain to get to and there was a fight, but it was cool how close to the stage you were.
Just watched highlights of new format. Seemed OK, decent standard, a few good finishes, although not as many close matches as expected.
