Paying the price for being rusty. He has to carry on though during covid as there are no exhibitions.

Yeah he was very hit and miss. If he could have taken out those damn doubles he missed you sense he could have gained some confidence and taken more and made it a real match.

Glad he had a bit of a hurrah with the 170 and winning a set - had feared the worst with him being out so long.

Dammit after two quarter finals are in the afternoon, both SF then final in the evening:(

Into the proper stuff from Monday some of the matchups are looking good.

DVD on the rampage. Turned on at 3-0 and he's got the veins popping in his head again.

Van Der Voort out with covid. He spent all of Christmas with MVG so expect the worse

When Smith plays like this most say it he has so much unfulfilled potential. O'Connor hasn't played that bad but Smith is on a different page altogether.

He's so good to watch on song, putting away those big finishes.

Still think he'll win a good few titles once he nails that first one, much like Wright has.

Kim had enough chances to break Price
Yep plenty of chances either way -- Kim hit more than enough 180s in the last few legs and blew it on the daft low visits and the doubles.

Don't think was too much in their bit of aggro towards the end having watched it back - Kim was whipping them up as well.

I did notice Sky had to turn the crowd down a few times when they were singing sheep shagging bastard at the end

:lol:Kleermaker's post-match interview and the interviewer's rapid apologies for his swearing.

And him telling the interviewer it wasn't a problem
:lol:That was brilliant.

Very entertaining match in the end. Searle needs to improve his doubling a bit- his scoring is relentless. Didn't realise he's crept into the top 16 now.

Of all the asterisk winners over sports in the Covid-19 era.... this could be the best one, they'll be incredibly lucky if it ends with MVG.

Hope DVD is ok tonight. Would be a pisser if Price flukes a bye too.

Shit, Chizzy out now too. Not just the Dutch players.

It has been a free for all in the Ally Pally on stage and the crowd. No doubt the same while off screen too. It was bound to happen, I would be surprised if more games aren`t called off. its a shame because it takes a bit of glitter off being champion .

Tournament should be postponed, becoming a bit of a shambles now
It's only three players out of 96 I think, two of whom spent Christmas together. Shame to lose MVG in particular, but couldn't see him winning it this year.

I wanna get in to this, this year. I used to watch the BDO on beeb but alas those days are no more.

If I don't want to watch a load of players with no chance of winning, what round should I start at?

It moves into the last 16 tonight, so the matches are getting very competitive and interesting now.

Jose sure blows hot and cold, disappointing.

No messing about from Rydz, thought he would win but didn't think he would win 4-0 and only drop 4 legs.

Rydz looked excellent, scoring and doubles, no faffing.
