Doesnt really matter. He will never be what he once was. Right now he wants to be the monster MVG and nothing else will do. Thats why he gets annoyingly cocky after every 2nd round win talking about how unbeatable he is.
Stand back, accept its a lot closer between you and the rest these days and dont crumble when you arent averaging 110. Build from there.

Nobody is scared of him anymore. They arent psyched out by getting shouted at after hitting 180.
Its a lot harder to hit 180 when the opponent left himself tops from 220. Its. A lot harder to hit the 155 finish when yoir opponent is on tops.

Doesn't win anywhere near as much and his aura has been really taken away. He'll not get to that level again, once the aura goes.... it's gone. Happens to anyone so dominant. With darts expanding massively I doubt we'll see that kind of dominance for some time, both MVG and Taylor got lucky to get in while explosions were happening, and hopefully that's not looking like I'm taking away from them, undoubtedly lights ahead in the current all-time rankings and deservedly so.
What a performance from Price, much deserved. First time I’ve seen him lose his bottle a bit with all those missed doubles but understandable in a world final when so far ahead. I’m glad MVG isn’t dominating any more, we’ve already seen all that with Phil Taylor and I much prefer all the big tournaments being shared out.
Last year he left Target and signed with Winmau, and he used darts they made for him. he struggled to play consistently well with them He then switched back to his old target darts in September, but by then the fear factor had gone and his confidence and self belief seemed to have taken a knock. Looked back to his best when he won the players championship.
Aaah I see, interesting to see if he can make a com back then.
