A 30-yr old centerback in an-out-of-nowhere transfer link. Seemingly an attempt to get an increased contract from Bayern. Yeah, leave the current best club in the world for a club in disarray. Quite bizarre.

Players leave the best and biggest clubs all the time, especially for other big clubs.
Its especially not bizarre to be linked. We get linked with messi, people who signed a new contract 2 days before, players who are 2 divisions below us and even 10 year old kids.

Yep football transfer speculation is like watching low budget B movies, despite knowing beforehand most of it is going to be utter shite, you still feel compelled to carry on watching! 
We can definitely rule out Dante for the summer. He has just signed a new contract with Bayern extending his still until 2017, so pretty much for the rest of his career.

I think we should go for him. He's surely not happy about his playing time.
He'll be nearly 32 at the start of next season. I think we should aim for younger players.
Love his distribution of the ball. Those long raking passes. Stylish player but past his best surely.
