Lost his light sabre
Wow. Turns out he is right footed. He’s right footed, no?
I said it after the last game but he’s one of our better finishers. When he’s through on goal he doesn’t miss.

Funny enough as last season that was his biggest strength, his crosses to Rashford against Liverpool and Norwich were delightful. Hopefully he can bring that back into his game.Just work a bit on calmly crossing the ball.. and he'll be really good. Its certainly something that he can improve on if he puts in the time. Gets into some really good positions.. then the cross is a bit hopeful.
This. Imagine if Martial put in as much effort like him.Actually tries, unlike some.
Goal aside,I still thought he was rubbish.
Painfully sticks out as the least skilled and technical player for us whenever he plays. Can't fault his effort and attitude though, he's always busy.
He deserves to stay in the team on merit. What sort of signal does it send when the established players consistently serve up dross but there are no ramifications? James was our best attacking player today.
We cannot play him against City though, we have to have a better option surely.
I would play 3-5-2 against City, with Rashford & Cavani up front. It worked very well against them last season.Like who? None of the front lads have made an indisputable case to start, apart from Rashford. And even he is absolutely maddening.
It's a shame he doesn't have a trick, would add so much to his game.
My MoTM today very good, and when it wasn't working he put the graft in to win the ball back or pressure Newcastle by pressing

We don’t keep the ball well so going toe to toe with big teams knowing we have a terrible defence probably isn’t the best idea. If we had more technical ability in the centre of the park & didn’t have such a dodgy centre half pairing we’d probably be less pragmatic in the big games. Maguire & Lindelof limit us so much.I’d say that’s the only way we can get anything against them, which is pretty depressing given the talk of how much we’ve come on. I can’t remember the last time we went toe to toe with a rival in the league.
Took his goal well and showed good workrate. For a starter on the wing he still lacks on too many fronts though
