Did he have a hand in creating the internet?
Our first team is lacking a midfield metronome imo, but at youth level we seem to developing a number of players who fit that profile. If one of Mainoo, Iqbal, Gore or Hannibal made it into the first 11, as a play-making #8, then that would be fantastic. It would be so cool if we could get an entire midfield of academy players in the first team again a la Beckham Butt Scholes Giggs.
Garnacho Gore Mainoo Iqbal Rashford maybe?
When you see Garner being moved on for a relatively small fee, it really seems that the chances of an academy lad holding down a place on the first team are so slim.
McTominay must give them all hope. He was less heralded in the youth teams than many others but has really pushed on. He's an easy scapegoat at times but ETH seems to trust him.
He reminds be a bit of Nicolo Barella. He doesn't play like an English footballer.
I'm choking on that, no kidding.Gore blimey!
With Hannibal and Scott gone there should be a place in the first team squad for him and/or Collyer. Makes sense to keep Casimero around so these guys can learn from him and they can do some of his hard yards.Do we know what's happening with him? Any updates on his injury?
Quality technical player for me but lacking in physicality. All our youth players like Minnie, Garnacho, Amass and Dan Gore all need some physicality, to a lesser extent Mainoo. With Hannibal and Scott gone there should be a place in the first team squad for him and/or Collyer. Any update on his injury? He has been out since beginning of year without any update?
Could do him well to get a year on loan if he is injury free. With Collyer in the team this year and his long-term injury I do not think he will get many chances here
Is the shoulder injury a different one to the one that ended his Port Vale loan spell? If it's the same one, why did he only have surgery in June? What was happening for the previous number of months? He had surgery on his dislocated shoulder around 5 June. As far as I know it can take several months to recover fully so that you can join full contact training.

If it's the same injury it does seem bizarreYou’ve got to present that question to the medical department.

Hopefully he'll be back soon, though no doubt the timing is off. Collyer might have over taken him in the pecking order
He’s back!
Statistically he probably won’t but he’s a very talented lad, I rate him a lot higher than anyone coming through behind him though, he’s probably the best young midfielder we have at the club now (not playing first team football)Touch of Billy Gilmour about him? He looks a really good footballer but I can't shake the feeling that he won't make it here for some reason. Maybe because there's so many other young CMs coming through behind him?
Better than Fletcher?Statistically he probably won’t but he’s a very talented lad, I rate him a lot higher than anyone coming through behind him though, he’s probably the best young midfielder we have at the club now (not playing first team football)
