Is he injured again?

Fletcher picked ahead of him for the bench against Brentford and no mention of him taking part in todays session.

Hopefully not.

I feel he needs a strong season of playing football to get back on track. Really good talent.

For those that have watched him in the academy games, what type of player is he? I'm surprised he's being considered for the first team after a disappointing spell at Port Vale last season.

seem to recall he was pretty much injured the whole time he was there.

He's a tidy player and he did well when given minutes a few years back.

Apparently injured along with Collyer. Makes sense why they both were not in the squad for Fenerbahce when we only took 3 midfielders.

I've always liked the look of him. He seems to be have been around for ages but he's still only 20. Needs to get a breakthrough soon or a decent loan.

Love me some Gore, I fear he’s one of the losers from the switch to a 3-4-3 system though. Not quite creative enough for one of the 10 roles and I fear he doesn’t have the physicality/athleticism to succeed in the double pivot.

I really hope i’ll be proven wrong.

I disagree somewhat. Think his workrate and tenacity would allow him to play in the system. Obviously he can adapt too.

6 month loan, did Carrick rate him?

Like Collyer I’m just hoping they can stay stay fit and become part of the rotation in the next few weeks. Then who knows what happens?

Where's Gore these days? Terrier-like at times and a low centre of gravity plus he can actually play.

@top1whoisman would know better, but I think he has been injured. He got injured on his loan to Port Vale last season and hasn't had many appearances since then.

He looked really promising to me in the couple of times I saw him in the pre-season. Was really looking forward to him making the grade. Unfortunately he has been anonymous since that loan.

He’s back and played the last two games for the U21s. A goal and two assists against So’ton. Important decision for his next loan, he must stay fit and get regular minutes.

He's highly rated but has been plagued with injuries that last 2 seasons. Needs to be playing regular football so a loan until the end of the season (league 1/Championship) would be perfect for him.
