DaMarcus Beasley

mu77--As a former Alaskan, I don't consider Chicago in early October to be too cold. I was thinking more along the lines of January in England during the rainy season (which runs, I understand, from early July to late June, most years) on a crap pitch, while playing almost every Wednesday and Saturday against either EPL or European competition--not the sort of fare he experiences currently in the MLS.

Chicago is not the "Windy City," it just sucks. :)

LOL - compared to the 49th - you may be right.
chi - town is colder in sept then engerland is in the dead of winter. (i'm in new hampshire we had our last snow storm two weeks ago)

but you still need to lose the bong.

Are you sure you're allowed to use the term EPL? The management here prefers "The Premiership".

What am I, a frigging stenographer? I'd rather use 3 letters than 14 and a set of quote marks to describe the top division in professional football in England. DeMarkus Beasley wouldn't have to say "das premiership."

Now you know how I feel about having grown men refer to this game as "footie." Sounds like somenthing a 4 year old would say. It's like calling war "shootie."

I bet DeMarcus Beasley doesn't call this game "footie."

yeah , like today's match - hardly footie - i f'n hate that word. manky brits :p

Beasley isn't United material. Maybe a club with ambition, like Everton or Villa would go after him, but United never would.
