DaMarcus Beasley

anyone seen him play today against Portugal? he terrorized the Portugese on that left side.

he just turned 20 last week, very fast and raw, weights 127 pounds...

what did you think of him? any chance in the EPL?

why not just call it the Premiership ?

cuz i'm lazy.

The mans pace is awesome imo. I wouldlove Fergie to get 'im and develope him ;)

Beasley is fast on the artificial surfaces or well groomed turf of the MLS and in good weather. It would be interesting to see how fast he is running into a stiff head wind after much wear and tear in the mud, cold, and brutality of the English league.
Upside--he will flesh out a bit without losing any speed (from weight/muscle gain), barring injury.

yeah, sign every player that has a decent game at the wc ...

i saw him play in the rain a couple months ago, i think it was the GOLD CUP. he's better in the rain ...

It would be a nightmare for you if we signed a German player wouldn't it. ;)

I´d be ok with Ballack, Klose and Kahn.

Dan would probably go and trash a few pubs tho ... :)

pretty lame Raoul, why so bitter? oh i know:

I'll gladly eat a hearty serving of humble pie if the US do well this time, but I'm sick and tired of the squad being hyped up every four years after they breeze through CONCACAF only to get their hearts handed to them when they face world class opposition in the finals.

There will be rumours about Beasley eventually when more people find out that his hero is Ryan Giggs.

I'd be ok with Kahn. Anymore and I'd trash Munich.

cuz you seemed bitter, just trying to cheer you up <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Bitter about what - I've said I don't care win lose or draw. Todays result just temporarily means I can't mock the USNT. I'm sure regular service will resume shortly.

It could do, but as it stands it's a questionable generalisation, dood.
