Some people wanted him sold
Aye, we'd sell him to Barca and people would think we'd done well to get rid! Some amount of dafty.

Leicester should have played Mahrez to take advantage of weak and slow Blind
I wouldn't bench him for Shaw at the moment.
What you have to do as a manager at MU is you play first De Gea and Blind and then you choose the rest.
Because despite what Fifa might teach you, the game of football is not all about pace. How can you be so good consistently despite being so slow.
You do have a serious hard on for him. He's our third back centre back, can put in a good shift there, but to me he might just be a better lb due to his ability to find space.
Not our best cb; certainly not as fact, but not a highly controversial statement even though I disagree. At lb, he seems to be our most effective.I must have a hard on for him too because he is our best cb and today at lb he has looked very accomplished again and obviously is better going forward than shaw
AgreedVery good today, when he plays well I think I prefer him at full back to centre-back.

You may well have a hard on for him, I have no idea.
Nah, I prefer Valencia there. He's been really good this season, counting today.Obviously he can't play LB because of Shaw being there. Would he be able to slot in at RB? He's a better full-back than Valencia but it's whether the position suits him.
Quite a few here would line upThe whole team needs to give him a blow job
I noticed he became less adventurous when Carrick entered the pitch; instead he just gave the ball to Carrick. Blind as cdm or lb to me is great. Blind normally struggles against very fast players though (Mahrez isn't that) but is great against clever players (Mahrez).Good looking man.
Yeah it is a difference of opinion I guess, I comfortably feel he is our strongest but its not controversial either to say smalling is better. I don't even care where he plays, he just needs to be in the team.
He is absolute fecking class. He needs to be playing every game for us.
Unfortunately he'll have 1 bad game out of 20 and people will constantly refer to that 1 game as an excuse to drop him.

How would you quantify "normally"? There are a shitload of fast players in the Premier League and he's struggled very rarely, on the whole.

For me he has to play so Shaw and Smalling have to fight it out for the other position. We're so much easier to play against when we don't have someone in the back four who can pick a pass.
