syrian_scholes: 1. Harden 2. Davis 3. Lowry 4. Marc Gasol
@JaffyJoe

My first pick is going to be Kyle Lowry, can't believe this guy hasn't been picked yet.

Well that's because there are a lot of great point guards in the league who have been picked ahead of him - Curry, Westbrook, Lillard, Paul, Irving.

@syrian_scholes I like the Marc Gasol pick. Excellent all round player. Him and Davis would be beasting.

Also, @JaffyJoe you made my life easier with Gordo pick. I was choosing between him and another player, and now I know who I'm taking :)

I'd put him ahead of some of those tbh.

Nah, come on! Definitely not better than any of them. Still a very good player and when you have two consistent scorers like Harden and Davis, you can get away with someone who will blow hot and cold. Good pick.

I think that was going to be my next pick! :(

Very possible. Since he plays in the only position you don't have a player for, and is absolutely feckin' amazing when you come to think of it, then it is probably him :)

Lowry is underrated. He's in the second tier of point guards probably at the top of it. Gasol is a great pick, best centre in the NBA for me.

syrian_scholes: 1. Harden 2. Davis 3. Lowry 4. Marc Gasol

I'm going with the best power forward left. He has a bit of everything and he's a better defender at the spot than everyone apart from , Draymond and Davis. Surprised he's still here but he's in a smaller market so actually I'm not. He's comfortable coming out to the perimeter to guard smaller players on switches (very important in today's NBA)

Good choice, I was going to take Millsap but not in my next pick and I figured he'd have been gone by the time it's my turn so I will likely go with Cousins at power forward anyway. Millsap is absolutely brilliant though.

I take the best small forward available, an amazing athlete, incredible ball handler who can take it to the rim. Terrific defender both inside and outside the post. He's basically full package and will soon be regarded as a top 3 small forward in the league if not better. Explosive, supremely talented and most of all, fun to watch.

You cannot spell his name so let's just say it now - it's the Greek Freak.

I TAKE GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO

@Aldo

Loving my team so far, it's like I'm playing 2K17 with Portland, I literally always try to trade for Cousins and Giannis. :lol: I got three ball handlers, I got an incredible post up threat, I got floor spacing, I got shooting, I have athletes and I have chemistry in the backcourt. LOVE IT.

I feel like he's overrated. Wall completely outplayed him in the playoffs two years ago.

He blows hot and cold, like I said. He can score you 40 points in a game, he can also score you 4 points on the night. Trouble with him is that his off nights usually happen in important games.

I like Giannis, wasn't a good enough shooter for my liking but he's a good player. I'm looking to pick up some good shooters next. But I like my team, two way players at every position, and players who can score from all over the floor with the best floor general around leading them.

I figured with Lillard, CJ and even Cousins I have enough floor spacing. I guess out of all teams here Giannis fits mine the best because he bring qualities some of the other players are missing (perimeter defending, pure athleticism, superb passing ability to take the burden off Lillard and CJ) while his deficiences (which is basically just shooting at this point) are compensated by everyone else.

I could use him at PF too but do not have an idea for a SF in that scenario. I think I will be able to get a decent back up PF in the second round as there are some good ones left but will use Cousins as my main PF if I can get the center I am thinking about now (still available).

@Kasper I really really wanted jordan. damn!
Sorry but I knew I'd have to pick a center now as all of you first three in the draft are still in need of one so the options would've been drastically reduced once it would've been my turn again.
I'm still pissed that @JaffyJoe picked Millsap I had hopes he'd go under the radar and I might get him in the 5.the round.

Like you said, it was two years ago, last year he got the Raptors to the east finals, which was good enough.
He shot below 40% from the field and 30% from 3. It was rather their defence that got them there.

Him and DeRozan both shot below 40% from the field, with Lowry shooting 30% from 3 and DD with 15%. It was rather their defence that got them there.
They still got there, which is a good accomplishment, what did Wall do last year?

Wall is the only player on the Wizards that keeps them in contention for the playoffs every season. He averaged 19.9/10.2 last season. When he made the playoffs the year before, his team swept the Raptors. If you're gonna scrutinise Wall's accomplishments with a bad team, you should do the same with Davis. It's easy to see they're great players stuck on bad teams.

Yeah I get that, but I just don't see him being as good as Lowry, it's all subjective though.

Fight!

Lillard is better than both.

Yep, he's a great pick for you. Good slasher and like you said he can playmake.

Who had Towns in mind? I wonder if he's as highly rated in here as I rate him.

I think he's clearly better. Lack of team success is holding him back though which is also the case for Cousins and Davis.
