Obviously this is all a bit over the top but I'm still very much on the Korean fans' side. If he didn't feel fully fit he could have still come on for 20 minutes and jog around for a bit. They all came to see him.

Love the guy in the video who has now unfollowed him on Instagram. That'll show him.

With the window ending the way it did, I was just thinking - what if we had signed him last season. 80 million seems like a pittance at this point for a player that would have transformed the club even at this stage in his career.

Apparently he was old and finished so we stuck with Lukaku

He must have got paid his weight in gold to do that.

Juventus let him down last season, not the other way round. He scored the goals he was signed to score. It'll be interesting to see how he does this season. Even his extraordinary professionalism can't hold time back forever.

I think he will want to retire either in Juventus or at another great club.

Some players get old and just leave the top clubs. Iniesta went to Japan instead of staying at Barça and fighting for his place. David Villa gave up his high level career years ago, among other examples.

Ronaldo is so competitive it's mind blowing really, that's why there's no signs of decline with him.

How can one still be this good at 34. Truly remarkable.
