It's new thing that''s only done for Ronaldo.7 out of 18 goals scored against Lithuania
No wonder they want to include international goals.
It's new thing that''s only done for Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is also the only player where penalty and non-penalty goals are almost put into separate categories or the level of the opponent he scores against is subtracted from his tally to give the “real numbers.”
It's just in general when we talk about the season a player has had we usually talk about their club goals. Hence we constantly mention Messi's 51 goal season last year without taking his international tally into account.
And we talk about lukkaku having 15 goals in 45 games. We weren't factoring in that he scored 14 goals in 14 games for Belgium.
It's fair enough to bring up international goals as well, I just feel it's suddenly pops up now because Ronaldo hasn't had a prolific start to his goalscoring at Juventus this season.
Fair enough tbh, but what about Messi’s 91 goals in a calendar year that always gets brought up. That was club + plenty of friendlies with Argentina, not just competitive games.
Why was he playing tonight? I thought he only wanted to play the important gamesSIIIIIIIIIUUUUUUU
Gif/video?
Surround him with people who will supply and he'll still score. Still got great positioning and finishing.
Because that was an expectional recordbreaking year compared to Mullers. Even without international goals added, Messi's still broke the record at a club level.
But in general whenever we talk about a players goals and assists we always talk about club tallies. We havn't been adding in Ronaldo's international goals in any of the previous seasons.

One of the main reason its bought up recently is because Ronaldo had just reach the 700 careers goals milestone for clubs and country (where very few players in football history had accomplished that), and is also going for Pele/Romario/Bican all time career record, and also all time international record, so every goals for clubs and country counts. Also, remember this is a Ronaldo thread, its perfectly normal people could bring up any stats they want regarding the player, especially when its related to all time record.
Bit of a cnut there.....I get it, Invaders can be dangerous but just take a quick pic with the supporter.
Are you serious? The guy isn't supposed to be there, appears out of nowhere and grabs his neck from behind. He doesn't know the guy, doesn't know his intentions (could be an opposite fan, a drunk, aggressive, whatever) and didn't expect him. The reaction is perfectly normal in that situation. To me it even appeared to be a subconscious reaction. It seems that he initially thought it was a team mate and when he turns around and sees that it's a fan he's alarmed and tries to get out of his grab. That's also what he gestured towards Buffon afterwards. He clearly had an issue with being touched without consent.
And by the way, I think it's wrong that he takes selfies with these guys. If it's a child, fine, but those are grown men. There are reasons why fans aren't allowed to enter the field and Ronaldo encourages this behaviour. I doubt the second and third invader would've even tried if he had ignored the first one instead of giving him what he wanted.

@SirAF SIUUU
Late to the party, mate!
Been a busy week bro but God do I love him
Better late than never
Perhaps, but do Juventus have the players to get the ball to him in the box without him getting frustrated? Last night I counted a few opportunities where guys like Bernardeschi could have played him in if they had the right decision making/quality.He does not want to play as a pure striker vulturing in the box but that might be the best fit for all parties at 35yo?

Won't happen but imagine him in the City or Liverpool lineup at the moment. Frightening prospect.

Juve are very bad going forward. Ronaldo is the very last thing on there list of worries because he will get the job done.Agreed. Imagine the goals galore he would get with Robertson or TAA whipping sumptuous balls to his head or De Bruyne picking him out with his razor sharp low crosses from the right side. They’d rack up insane amount of assists on top of what they’re already doing. Juve don’t even try to utilise his aerial prowess as they rarely cross the ball as most of their players are so bad at it.
Thats why I think he comes back as well. Just check his goal vs Lazio where he began and finished the play with his link up play.I agree, but he would play there if he believed he'd get the service. He loves scoring goals and it's best for Juve to have him in goalscoring positions. But i always feel he has to come collect the ball to get involved because the service hasn't been great. You should find a way to create more, otherwise it's gonna be tough getting that much coveted CL title that you've been gunning for.

It was also the third invader who came up to him last night. He hugged the first one, didn't engage with the second one and then was obviously annoyed at the last one.Are you serious?
