Agreed. Even we made two signings directly addressing two areas of the pitch we were lacking in. We haven’t done that in a while.
If i'm brutally honest, I've always thought at the back of my mind Ronaldo was the type who would do something like this but its you never say it out loud as its great to run with the Club Legend, one of the greatest played for us, rhetoric.
He knows his career at Madrid will always be his biggest achievement. The one the football world will remember most when he's retired. For that reason he would never join Barca and damage that legacy.

I really want to know how Ronaldo-fanbois will take to this move. Obviously, it won't effect how they see him as the player - after all, one of the greatest of all time. But, in terms of supporting him after every goal he scores, what an interesting turn of events.

Thinking about it, the guy has always used us to get new contract and solve his problems at Madrid. Several times he told Mendez to go to media and report that he loves Manchester and wants to return then few days later he signs a new contract.
