Is Ronaldo justified to say that he “feels betrayed” by Manchester United?

It's a shame because he didn't need to leave the club tarnishing his legacy, even refusing to come on against Spurs didn't do that but they'll be no return from this and so this is his last moment with us and it's a very sour one to end on

At least he waited until the break. He's surely played his last game for the club, maybe his last game anywhere. He won't be remembered fondly and he's nobody to blame for that but himself.

That escalated quickly. The biggest question I have then is why did Erik ten Hag give him the captaincy? Was it a 500 iq move to expose him or something? An olive branch? Capitulation on the coach's side?
I guess he was the most senior player available at the time.

As for some of his most vociferous critics, like another former team-mate Wayne Rooney who has publicly attacked Ronaldo for months and urged United to get rid of him, he is witheringly scornful of their headline-grabbing motives.

He says: “I don’t know why he criticises me so badly . . . probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at high level.”

Then he chuckles and adds: “I’m not going to say that I’m looking better than him. Which is true . . . ”

Needs to be gone as quickly as possible now, which is obviously exactly what he wants and this whole thing is designed to engineer. Contracted should be terminated by mutual consent straight away.

I’m going to hold off on saying too much about the guy, because he’s obviously had personal struggles this year that most of us couldn’t even dream of.

But I’m glad he won’t be at the club much longer and as much as I loved the player he was during his first spell with us, I dearly wish he had never come back.

Rooney > Ronaldo.

Criticising the club for standing still since SAF left is what I do agree with though. Not the only one to say it. The club is stuck in the past

I can not stand the man

What a fecking idiot. Goes on a strike for the complete pre season and now it's us betraying him... Sure. Honestly please just feck off

Hope he never plays for us again, he can feck off.
