Asked for a Transfer - Many players have asked for a Transfer. He asked to leave when Alex was Manager but Alex convinced him to stay one more year.[/QUOTE]
Yes, they do. However, most buckle down and get on with it if the club refuse to sell, or in his case after nobody wanted him.
Refused to play - 2 Minutes against Spurs after the coach refused to play him against City to save his ego.
The fact you can’t see the difference in the two is very telling. Players have often come on with seconds remaining, let alone minutes. He walked out of the stadium on the 89th Minute. Not only did he refuse to come onto the pitch, he walked out of the stadium. It's pathetic and its inexcusable.
That some are using the time that he didn’t come on against the humiliating game v city as a justifiable reason to his actions is quite frankly, embarrassing.
Conducting an Interview and running around a pitch for 90minutes 2 different things
That one I CAN agree with you but let's face it - there is some merit in it -Refused to play for 2 minutes, fined, plays 90 minutes became Captain. Confused
Ralf was never a manager and so it proved.
You agree with it yet go on to defend it.
But saying all this Ronaldo does have an Ego that I agree but the argument is that alot of things he did say was the truth and maybe The Glazers and the next Generation start taking notes. To win the League you cant just pitch up and Ronadlo played with a whole bunch of talents but street fighters when he came to United. He calls it has he sees it and he has seen it first hand.
If you honestly believe that Ronaldo is doing all this for the benefit of the club and to “show up” the Glazers then I have a bridge to sell you. He is doing this for reputation protection. “It’s not my fault I’ve been shit this season it’s because of (insert everyone and everything but himself)
He also wants out of the contract because he knows deep down that he simply isn’t good enough anymore. He is saving face, It’s that simple.
