I know everyone is currently making out Ronaldo is the worst player in history.
But the truth is he could easily have done a job here, in the right games as a rotational player.

The problem was always expecting to play every game and be the big man still.
 
So the Rooney quote was straight out of Piers mouth.

Edit: i also missed the part where Ronaldo said that it was SAF's decision to bring him back to Old Trafford. Please cite where you see this to be the case.

I didnt slate him. I was questioning pretty much every attacker we have. None of them had proven to be consistent enugh to be a United forward.

I want Ten Hag to make it well, but it remains to be seen. And IMO the first thing he needs to fix is our attack. Its not like it will be good once Ronaldo leaves. We will still have problems.
