I am grateful that we will definitely be able to sign a striker in January.

The only good thing Ronaldo said in the interview was about the glazers not loving the club and not caring about the club. But it’s what we all know anyway. It’s alright for us to say it as fans but for Ronaldo to who’s happy getting his halve a million a week wages or whatever he’s on. He should stop taking his wages then and terminate his own contract…
.
players like Ronaldo in this line are two faced, he doesn’t care about the club either or he wouldn’t be disrespecting the fans. It is us being humiliated

I don't think anybody really hates him, it was just time to move on and he wasn't pulling his weight.

He's since proven just like Dan James it was the right call. United have had a big issue of sticking with players far over their 'sell by date'. We have attachment issues as a club/fanbase in general.
I agree fully about that and keeping squad players for too long but always felt he got an unnecessary amount of venom from fans shown his way. He wasn't a mercenary and by most accounts not a disruptive prescence in the dressing room either.

Never disrespected the club either no matter what situation he went through (like being refused a sale/loan then subsequently never playing). Of all the targets the fanbase have had over the years, he was one of the least deserving for me.

He is bigger than Portugal isnt he? imagine going to World Cup and all the headlines are about your problem with your club than about the national team.

Get rid asap, is there a chance we might actually release him?

who is this person, he needs to be named and shamed.
His comments are just wrong.
He must have been told to say that, come on no real United fan actually thinks this. do they ?
Oh there are thousands of them on social media. It's quite scary, on facebook for example under every United post there are hundreds of comments calling CR the GOAT etc. Hope they all follow the prick when he's out.

So silly anytime I hear people refer to him as "the best player in the world"

He is not even the second best striker at Man Utd at this point and our options up front are pretty average.

It is like when people refer to Mike Tyson as "the baddest man on the planet".

I have seen them on Facebook, they are clueless, most of them could not find the club on a map, but to put yourself on TV and say that, takes it to another level

Think it was mainly he'd play every match, run about a little bit and put up no goals or assist, then be dancing about on tik tok at night.

Sort of rubs the fans up the wrong way right? It was a bad period for everybody in general. He probably did get stick but nothing like Maguire gets now etc

There is rarely anything interesting to say about a national team, let alone something to put on a headline. Unless something bad happened.

In Portugal at least I expect there should be news about the team preparation, manager's comments and squad updates. But surely they are overshadowed by his interview with Piers now. It's disrespectful to do the interview before he goes to WC. Will be funny if Portugal dressing room is also divided because of him.

Nonsense; there are too many people who "believe" they "know" the truth and pointing fingers when they know nothing. This fan argument that keeps being mentioned seems presumptuous and lacking understanding of individuals thoughts. So that is two things that some using the internet seem to do (note the not absolute).
Then tell us what wrongful presumptions or overlooked truths could have warranted thosee comments about Ten Hag. A premeditated, fully informed, 90 minute interview doesn't exactly leave room to spin PR narratives about "the truth". This is straight from the horse's mouth not our personal interpretations. Anyone still doing a PR drive on this car crash needs to stop. If he only trashed the glazers he would have been golden but he trashed everyone, the manager and pundits who gave fair criticisms about his conduct,

His name is Mark Goldbridge. He's wearing a disguise, though, but he doesn't fool me.

Given there is little information other than cutting room edits, and an inability to ask Ronney for clarification, I have no idea. 90mins is not fully informed.

This isn't about PR it's about philosophy of knowledge.

None of that is worthy of headlines in any country, unless there is nothing else to report. It's a bit like Kane's interview a few years ago, it was the headline not because he is bigger than England but because national teams are rarely providing anything worth reporting outside of results and game analysis.

He was talking directly about the glazers here I believe. One of the more sensible parts of the clips that have come out so far.

I don’t care. He is not remotely better himself. Not that I am against anyone who want to earn money, but ffs do not talk about others when your hand is literally in the same cookie jar.
