Rashford n Martial have nothing to worry about.
Didn’t you post the same exact post in the Casemiro thread about McTominay? Are you a bot or you just have a very limited vocabulary?

This, this, and this ... Yes, Antony faded badly in the 2nd half, but first half he was one of the biggest victims of the Ronaldo effect, Dalot had the ball many times with Antony making runs in front of him, and Dalot just ignored him and looked central for Ronaldo, even senior players like Eriksen did the same. There was a sequence where we managed to get Elanga with space to run, what does he do? Try to pass it to Ronaldo who's sandwiched between two players.Nit just that he is useless, he kills our play completely. And our players are trying to pass to him every time
As much as I like he leaves, I think he can still be a good impact sub, especially in EPL, when the opponents are tired out. Say last 20 mins for instance. He just isn't very good anymore. He is just too easily dominated physically. Not his fault, he is closer to 40 than 30.
Should not be an impact sub as some are saying. Should not be involved. We just need to take the hit on the wages and the fact that we needed another striker this summer, blood some young lads.
THIS!!! So much THIS!!! Winning the World Cup is the only thing that will enhance his legacy and give him a shot at one final BdO (like R9 and Canavaro) to bring the gap down to 1.He's timing this season to be hitting peak during World Cup.
This is his last shot at winning it everything else is just collateral for that this year.
That's also a problem. If like last season we're committed to waiting for those increasingly scarce blotches of form we will be out of every competition. These days his bad form is really bad, we can just write off those games too.Last season he went through a few months in the winter time where he looked like this, slow, struggling to control the ball and make passes, poor calculated shots, then it all came back.
Can only hope missing preseason is affecting him a lot and he can bounce back but I doubt it now or if he does it won't be for long.
There’s something off with him. He was far better last year and the “he didn’t have a preseason” excuse is beginning to wear thin.
It's age. When the decline hits, it hits fast.
He's making the right movements but just doesn't have the legs for it.
If he continues like this, when Martial is back we might not even see him in the Europa league.
Makes the decision of keeping him seem even more odd.
One loss in the Europa League isn't a big deal and if he improves greatly then he'll be useful. My worry is us wasting our project/ development baby playing him. We can't really play a progressive style with a static Cf.
Well exactly. One or two slow moving parts can give the opponents the physical advantage. I still hope he attains full sharpness and form. There are plenty of games where can contribute and put away chances. At the same time we need Madtial fit as the system can't go down the dumps because of a player rested / rotated here and there. There are another 10 players on the pitch. It won't be ideal, but yes the team can still play progressive football. He's just one of the compounding players that prevent us playing progressive style.
Comically timed 5 year extension loading...Thank feck next year's contract is a club option. We wouldn't be daft enough to trigger it, right? RIGHT?!
