That was a good one
Shane Watson has nothing on this guy.Initially I thought he was telling the umpire to review it in order to change his original decision of out.. Can't believe in this day and age he asked for a review of that catch! It fell to the ground so clearly..
MI game finished past 12AM. Presumbly had to take back to back flights to Colombo and then Kandy. Domedtic match started 9.30 AM (same time zone). Got figures of 7/49 and bowled 9 overs in a row!! Legend.
SLC are just utter cnuts though.. tired of these morons running cricket in the country. Feel sorry for Malinga
He could have just skipped the ipl match.
SLC should have seen the bigger picture and told Malinga to play the full IPL and forget the domestic tournament. He's still by far the best bowler in the country and he'll be playing with much higher pressure/competition in the IPL than this domestic competition - much better WC prep.
Instead, the board effectively forced him to play this tournament and indirectly threaten to take the Captaincy away from him if he doesn't.
Joe Clarke must be close to an England call up now, about to get his 2nd 100 of the match, had a good season last season, and started this in top form
I think you and I might have different opinions on what good writing looks like.
If I cared, it would be tiring to read the number of times you disagree with others and have an uncontrollable urge to call it out.
That's not a cut noobs.
Anyone know anything about this?
A guy at work used to play league cricket in Bangladesh, not sure entirely of the format, but he says he was a 3rd division player, so clearly no mug on a cricket pitch.
He came to the UK, originally, on a student visa and says he was not allowed to play cricket for his University, in local leagues or village cricket etc. Can anyone explain this for me, because it seems totally ridiculous to me.

You aren't allowed to participate in sporting or musical bands on a student visa. Although it doesn't apply to unofficial leagues.
It may be because he played at too high a level back home, there are rules about clubs playing overseas players unless they are deemed to be amateurs I think.
Well they wouldn't really know how good he was unless they saw him play.
That's a bit rubbish, and really unfair.

Zimbabwe cricket suspended with immediate effect. Pretty Sad.
Don't know much but from what I read it seems there has been government interference in their election process. Most likely to do with some kind of corrupt people occupying the seats. What did they do specifically, do you know?
Amir has announced his retirement from Test cricket.
Disappointed by this, he should be at his peak right now, not retiring from Tests! Not even like we play a lot of them that he has to manage his fitness.
Weird decision. Wasn't his ODI spot in doubt before this world cup?
