Listening to the new Nas album and it's amazing this year. He is really going hard and on top of his hand right now.

Bar a poor 50 cent feature is as good as anything him and Hitboy have done.

Five great albums in something like three years now is amazing

Not feeling this one on first listen :(

Intro is hilarious though, and the line "I murder n*ggas on wax and forget where they buried" is too good.

Just listened to this. It's like watching some hall of famer from the 70s trying to hoop now  . Nas part was alright, will give the rest a listen.

This closes the GOAT argument. Coming out at 50 years of age and dropping five straight incredible albums in three years?

Hopefully this inspires Jay to get up off his seat and make a play because Nas just 'Last Dance'd' over them all.

Yep, he was the GOAT already. What he's done in the last few years is pretty incredible. I would like to see him switch up his flow a little bit more regularly though. He just makes it all seem so effortless.

Travis Scott Utopia dropped. For all the shit he deserves for how he handled the tragedy at his concert his music is good. Don't like the whole album but about 5-6 songs I think are really good

8 tracks in, I’ve only liked 1 so far.

I saw it was 19 tracks and already felt tired. Some songs were decent but it just kind of all blended into one for me. Definitely sounded Kanye/Yeezus inspires.

Yes definitely. Grows on me more and more. Got 8 tracks now that I find really good. Much better than his last features where he seemed lazy. This has Rodeo vibes again.

love seeing The Alchemist produce a song on that album, just needs a Drake song at this point and he’s completed hip hop

Ok, this new Diddy album needs talking about.
After 1.5 listening its easily my favorite so far this year. Amazing production, Diddy sounds good doing what he does best letting the features shine.

Also, new Rod Wave album, looking forward to give it a listen.

A man's been arrested for the murder for one Tupac shakur.

Yes you read that right.

Wait what??? I thought it was pretty much a given that that Orlando guy did it?

It is. The guy who was arrested today is apparently a relative of that Orlando guy, who has previously said he was in the car when the shots were fired.

So presumably he's been arrested for being involved in the murder more generally, rather than specifically being the person who pulled the trigger.

Ohhh his uncle or something? If it’s the same person I’m thinking of he’s literally done interviews openly rehashing what happened that night maybe the police were made privy to it

Yep, that's the guy.

Keefe D has interviews on Vladtv talking about his role in the murder. I’m not sure if he thought he had immunity or what but he’s been bragging about it for years.

Anderson was the shooter, Keefe D was in the car.

Yeah I watched that video but wasn't sure how believable the guy was. I couldn't believe you would just admit to it like that.

This was the worst kept secret. Keefe D been doing interviews for years and hate to admit it he was starting to grow on me. He is actually hilarious and entertaining TV. He was constantly beefing with former members of Suge Knights entourage over various interviews calling each other out, calling each other snitches, saying they weren't as tough as they claimed etc it was just a bunch of old men arguing over interview for clout but its was funny as hell

Magic 3 was nice. The first five never caught my attention but this was good.

Not commercial hip hop but Rome Streetz dropped Noise Kandy 5 which really fecking good. Recommend to check that.

The new Drake album is ice cold. Best thing he's done since If you're reading this...

Really? I couldn't listen through a single song. Just boring. It's good he's featuring young artists like Yeat but it feels he's too old for that kind of music. He can't flow on that kind of beats. The rest is just meh. Feels like he's not even trying anymore and hasn't been for a long time.

Have not listened to the album yet, but when i heard the news that he was thinking about taking a long break from music, this was my first thought.
When you are this big, music is far from your biggest source of income and he dont need it to stay relevant anymore so why bother?

Andre 3000 is releasing an album this Friday but apparently it’s mostly him playing the flute.

Drake due to drop a surprise album. I feel like he is becoming a quantity over quality artist.

Been this way since More Life in 2017 tbh. His albums are like bloated corpses dredged from the canals of basicness.

The guy can touch most things and make something great, but an album of mostly him playing the flute may just be a stretch too far. Still, I'll live in hope....

Yeah I'm not really expecting anything from it but will obviously check it out. Not sure why there's been such a long clamour for him to release an album anyway. He's never really done that as a solo artist.

I am starting to lack behind. Still have not listened to Chris Brown, Meek And Ross, Larry June or BJ The Chicago Kid.
And thats only from last friday, this friday its Drake and Andre and probably much more.

I tried listening to Carlos Nino & friends album "(I´m just) Chillin´, on fire" as thats apparently the vibe Andre is on, he is even featured on the album, and its not for me. Will give his album a try as i do with everything even remotely Outkast related, but my hopes are not high.
