I have ears and he is pure trash
Travis is fine. 90210 is a brilliant song. Don’t be a dick to people. Everyone likes different things.
So I dug in and listened to three of his tracks. He's trash.
One was called gooesebumps I think. Another was with MIA. The third I can't really remember anything about. They were among the first when searching for him on youtube.which 3 tracks?
Thats fine but if James Corden can be labelled scum on here then surely calling Travis garbage which he clearly is is fair game as well.
Modern hip hop is in such a poor state because the likes of Scott, Carti and their autotubed drivel is rated highly.
I realize its a commercial hip hop thread and ill say no more but calling him trash is not being a dick to anyone bar him

Do we have any updates on when Utopia from Travis Scott will drop? Cant wait in all honesty

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit delayed due to him just having a new baby, plus album releases from October-Jan aren't always the best I find, most of the bigger artists tend to release between March-September, and will maybe put out singles or throwaway tracks outside of this period. Maybe Covid will change that though.
Thanks mate. Looks like it will be quite a while then
Yeah hopefully its good, I didn't like Astroworld as much think the tried to do a bit too much. Obviously there are still some great songs but overall it didn't match the quality of the previous albums or have as much replay value.
I'll blame this Kylie chick if it sucks.
Side B and Bo Jackson two of my favourites this year, probably some others but can't rememberAny thoughts on Westside Gunn HWH8?
I thought the Side A was a bit boring but Side B was more solid. Not really into Stove Gods and he's on most of tracks so not too happy with that.
Would be very welcome.Been hearing some rumours Kendrick Lamar's new album could drop tomorrow.
Would be stunned of true but least it appears to be near completion and some tracked have already leaked

Well that would be insane and amazing. TDE love an overly long rollout though. Would be very unexpected.
8 people confirmed dead in stampede at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival. Seems to be because of compression asphyxiation a la Hillsborough but I’m also hearing that fentanyl-laced pills were being passed around? Apparently a gate was broken and people were rushing to the front. Lots of witness testimonies on twitter and Reddit. Some are saying that they witnessed other fans performing CPR right in front of them.
What is the probability of successful wrongful death lawsuits in situations like this?Terrifying. Sounds like failures all round, from security to medical personnel not responding quick enough.
Yeah I've seen the number 11 being thrown around but haven't seen an offcial source on that. Witnesses are saying there's dozens or hundreds of bodies but that surely (hopefully) is just exaggeration. Its a fecking tragic situation anyway, absolutely devastating. It unfortunately sounds like that original figure of 8 will grow. fecking hell a lot must have gone terribly wrong here.8 people confirmed dead in stampede at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival. edit: Apparently there are more deaths than 8 but this may just be social media hearsay as I’m seeing fluctuating numbers.
Saw videos of one or two people try to alert the cameraman but he more or less told them to do one. Travis Scott reportedly didn’t stop the show but tbf I’m not sure from where he was standing how easy it is to see passed out bodies in a sea of 50,000+ people. And I’ve seen his Netflix documentary- mosh pits and rioting are not uncommon at his shows (he’s actually been fined on more than one occasion for directly inciting dangerous behaviour from his fans at festivals)Yeah I've seen the number 11 being thrown around but haven't seen an offcial source on that. Yeah it seems he did stop the show a few times because of the chanting but he was getting no information from whoever was in charge production wise.Saw videos of one or two people try to alert the cameraman but he more or less told them to do one. New nine track 'album' from Nas just landed. Just listened through once and, as you'd probably expect, it's good. Not on a par with KD or KD2 but not intended to be, I suspect, as it's more an appetite whetter for KD3. Well worth a listen...he's still one the best around.
Agreed entirely. He makes it all sound so effortless as well. Love this Indian summer his career seems to be having. His whole vibe puts a smile on my face. Almost everything he does has a nostalgic feel to it. This was no different.
