I mean Corden has actually done things worthy of that moniker but I accept you weren’t technically a dick to anyone. It was just very blunt and dismissive of something someone liked. Seemed a bit mean but may have just been me.
I enjoy some of their songs (90210, Drugs You Should Try It, etc) but they’re not in my top tier. It’s still ok to like them if you do though. I stopped giving a shit about auto tune years ago. If it sounds good who cares imo.

Or from the last album Butterfly Effect or Sicko Mode. These are all good imo. For a 'commercial' rapper if you will I think he has quite a lot of quality songs. Each to their own though obviously.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit delayed due to him just having a new baby, plus album releases from October-Jan aren't always the best I find, most of the bigger artists tend to release between March-September, and will maybe put out singles or throwaway tracks outside of this period. Maybe Covid will change that though.
I actually thought Travis brought 'commercial' hip hop back to a very good level. Before him there was a time when pure crap was released. Kanye hit rock bottom, Wayne turned to crap etc.
But I'm not going to pretend I know too much on the matter. Have to admit that I have never heard of James Corden for example.

Yeah hopefully its good, I didn't like Astroworld as much think the tried to do a bit too much. Obviously there are still some great songs but overall it didn't match the quality of the previous albums or have as much replay value.

8 people confirmed dead in stampede at Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival. Seems to be because of compression asphyxiation a la Hillsborough but I’m also hearing that fentanyl-laced pills were being passed around? Apparently a gate was broken and people were rushing to the front. Lots of witness testimonies on twitter and Reddit. Some are saying that they witnessed other fans performing CPR right in front of them.

Yeah I've seen the number 11 being thrown around but haven't seen an offcial source on that. Witnesses are saying there's dozens or hundreds of bodies but that surely (hopefully) is just exaggeration. Its a fecking tragic situation anyway, absolutely devastating. It unfortunately sounds like that original figure of 8 will grow. fecking hell a lot must have gone terribly wrong here.
Saw videos of one or two people try to alert the cameraman but he more or less told them to do one. Travis Scott reportedly didn’t stop the show but tbf I’m not sure from where he was standing how easy it is to see passed out bodies in a sea of 50,000+ people. And I’ve seen his Netflix documentary- mosh pits and rioting are not uncommon at his shows (he’s actually been fined on more than one occasion for directly inciting dangerous behaviour from his fans at festivals)
Yeah it seems he did stop the show a few times because of the chanting but he was getting no information from whoever was in charge production wise.
There's even video of people in top of thr medical carts moshing while the concert is ongoing. It's an absolute mess like.
I'm pretty sure I saw that same video with the camera man, more or less tells them to feck off. Tbf I'm not sure how much he'd know or what sodtrof position he'd be in to do something. The worse stuff I've read is how people alerted the security and they didn't take it seriously and just did nothing about it.

Russ new albums is contender for album of the year for me. Amazing from start to finish.
New nine track 'album' from Nas just landed. Just listened through once and, as you'd probably expect, it's good. Not on a par with KD or KD2 but not intended to be, I suspect, as it's more an appetite whetter for KD3. Well worth a listen...he's still one the best around.
His whole vibe puts a smile on my face. Almost everything he does has a nostalgic feel to it. This was no different.
