That's where Marcus Allen went. Hopefully we're able to keep him from flipping to SC
Looks like he’s decided to move back closer to home. After everyone he’d turned down, I really thought he’d stay with UCLA. On the plus side, I’ll definitely get to go see him play again now… just all grown up!

@WI_Red - What would you say is the main difference between going 4-8 last year to 6-0 this year ? Is it Williams/Addison and having Riley calling the shots or another reason ?

mostly, but also the cleansing of the absolute rot that had permitted the program. Helton was like Ole in so many ways. Nice guy and poor coach who was kept around for “stability” while the team rotted. The difference is that in college you can force the bad apples out overnight, which Riley did. A lot of the focus has been on the incoming transfers, but just as important were the graduates and outgoing transfers. That is not to say they were bad players/people, only that they lacked the mentality needed at a top 5 program.

I simply chalked it up to Williams being a better QB. Only one pick all year, which alone is good enough to win a couple of games. Riley seems to have made all the right moves in the portal which is paying off now.

Tennessee look legit.

I don't think I've ever seen a lankier QB than Young. He can't be more than 190lbs. Not sure how that will bold in the NFL for a pocket passer like him. He makes Drew Brees look massive.

Thank you for this post. It inspired me to look up the score and I am now cackling uncontrollably. I apologize in advance for UAT storming back to win, but right now it is glorious.

That decision to take a deep bomb on 4th and medium with like 4:xx something to play gave life to Alabama. They're gonna get back in this right here, most likely.

Bonehead decision, probably gonna have a Tennessee player ejected for targeting.

It happened so quick though, probably not even a half-second after the throw and the player was already moving towards Young. But he ducked the helmet but may have led with shoulder from sky cam view.

Update: no targeting call, probably the correct call.

On a trip so haven't been able to watch much Saturday ball in the past few weeks.

Michigan look ominous. Would be nice to see Tennessee prevail but we know what the SEC Championship game looks like...

What a crock of shit. Alabama receiver hauls down the Tennessee defender and blind bent refs called defensive PI.
Never forget

Really think they shoulda checked into max coverage once Bama went hard count to cause the defense to show their hand. Pressure is good if it gets there, but it hasn’t been, and they left too many holes for Bama to find behind it
