Be interesting if they did reveal the details of the bidders offers to each other, and whether that is legal under the tender process with accompanying NDAs.

Neither Jassim nor the Glazers were involved in the first meeting nevermind the supposed next two. But wouldn't want to that to get in the way of a good story
I think they mean they had two extra, secret rounds just between the two

It’s going to rough on Sir Jim’s ego to lose this after bidding more than £5bn and already losing out on Chelsea.

If this gets resolved before next weekend, that'd be a huge bonus and actually stay true to the original deadline which I think always referred to the winner being clear and not the transaction being finalised.

It’s quite amusing how the media narrative shifts.

Last night it was being briefed the Glazers might be mugging everyone off and staying put, today it’s Qatar will pay whatever it takes and reports the new bid will be in the 6bn ball park.

Sportico ( who I've genuinely never heard of) just don't have the save gravitas as the source who reported on here last night that Qatar have pulled out.

No one actually reported anyone had pulled out so I’m not sure why you’re making things up?

If it went up by a billion and a half I somewhat doubt Sportico would be the one breaking the news

I'd say they know as much as that twitter cuntpals account.

I genuinely don't know who half of these twitter knobs are, nor do I care, they all seem to post the same drivel and tag each other in the posts.

If he's deadly serious on a PL club he could end up at Liverpool or Spurs. Imagine having to live through the banter if he did that and they ended up being more successful. Same for the Qataris too if they took their money elsewhere :wenger:

Liverpool aren’t for sale?

I’m not sure why people keep saying this. FSG have said they aren’t going anywhere.

Yeah, now - apparently - the Glazers are very close to getting what they supposedly want.

Whereas the overall media narrative yesterday was literally that no bid was even close (supporting the idea that they won't sell).

Click, click, click.

That sure is a hell of a lot of fluff
