Seems like Sir Jim truly is red through and through. He has the exact same bidding policy as us...
Not really, no.Can we assume from this that Jassim and INEOs are the only two bidding outright/majority stake and the other bids are investors/minority stake only?
Ornstein says bids have gone in and they are not from Jassim or SJR.
Looks like it, Keegan’s definitely well informed for Qatar, even with this most recent mishap.Kaveh the new Tier 1 on this? If I remember waaay back at the start it was Sky that broke that the Glazers were open to selling
Why not?Not really, no.
Ornstein says bids have gone in and they are not from Jassim or SJR.
Why not?
Why have only INEOs and 92 bids been granted an extension?
I'm reading in that the other proposals are much smaller in number and so will be minority stake, so don't need an extension.
That could well be true.Hopefully it serves to confirm that the Glazers DO want to sell... enough that more time was granted for the 2 big boys to put in their bids.
Englishman - lemme buy your club using more debt and let hedge funds bleed you dry in the background over the next few decades. Don't worry, we're better than those pesky Americans.
Qataris - lemme buy your club using straight cash, commit pay for full stadium renovations and commit to a massive transfer chest for the next few years at minimum. Don't worry, were not linked to the state.

The ultra rich lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. Maybe folks are more sensitive to issues surrounding Qatar now. It's a bit harder to wrap your head around but Radcliffe is a generational recipient of success on the backs of English slavery and colonialism. In an anachronistic way there isn't a lot between them in that regard.
And there certainly is no moral high ground to be had here. But one option actually means taking care of Manchester United in a way that has been lacking for over a decade. And that's the Sheiks bid.
Because they didn’t leak their arrival to the sun in advance? The two bidders that have gone public have decided to do so for a reason. It really isn’t outside the realm of possibility that bidders are keeping quiet at this stage. Not falling for none of this. How did other bidders manage to get in and out of OT with nobody knowing?

And if they did, why was SJR and the Qataris visit publicised and nobody else was?
All this talk of six to eight offers. Where were these guys when Richard Arnold was showing Sheikh Jassim's team and INEOS around?
This is a phenomenally stupid post. Still, as long as you're able to rationalize it...Englishman - lemme buy your club using more debt and let hedge funds bleed you dry in the background over the next few decades. Don't worry, we're better than those pesky Americans.

The ones who are keeping quiet are doing it because they are likely not going to be very popular with the fanbase. It's clearly more yank blood suckers.
While these are good questions, I'd also be surprised if there were only two parties interested in one of the biggest sporting brands in the world, maybe the others just got sent the relevant financial rather than travelling to Manchester, can't imagine that would be too hard to accommodate

If your going to spend billions, you want the full presentation and tour that’s on offer.
If there were other delegations doing the rounds we'd have heard. United is not Fort Knox.
Someone would have been papped, a newspaper would have paid a cleaner or a steward some cash for a scoop, it'd be doing the rounds in Manchester after people who work at the club discussed their working day with friends and family.
There are no other bidders. All this talk of eight other bidders is, to me, an obvious bluff to get Nine Two and/or INEOS to chuck a couple more zeroes on their bids.
Have either of these crooked billionaires publicly stated how they are going to improve the piss poor pies at Old Trafford?

You may have a point here.
Laurie Whitewell's been pretty consistent that it's just INEOS v Qatar.
